This hotel looks decent from the outside, but looks are deceiving. The lobby area and some hallways are in a state of disrepair; staff informed me that a pipe had burst and caused damage, however I found torn wallpaper and unfinished rooms on the top floor, which made me wonder if that was really true. Regardless, this place shows it’s... More

Nothing here to get excited about. It needs a refreshening. At $105 for a junior suite as part of a group rate the price was right, but that's about it. Would have stayed elsewhere, but this is where the group chose to book. Staff were polite and efficient. Good location for hospitals and Science North. OK choice if you need... More

As a previous poster noted, the hotel is being renovated. Front desk staff were very good; allowing us a late check out; and adjusting my bill for issues I encountered. The deadbolt on my room wasn't working properly and the toilet in my room had the tank overflow. Stuff happens; but as I said the front desk staff handled it.... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night. I wasn't aware when I booked the hotel room that the hotel was having renovations done. When I arrived, I noticed a couple of buses there and found out that there were a couple of groups of hockey players checking in. Thankfully the hotel staff were able to put me in... More

The hotel rooms are clean, the staff is courteous. Our grand-daughters really enjoyed the pool, especially that it was opened at 9:00 a.m. til 10:00 p.m.; this gave us time to swim, go shopping, come back to the room, and pool, then visit Science North which is a block away, and then still have to swim before bedtime ! It... More

I really enjoyed how it was central to everything in Sudbury and reasonably priced. The family was able to enjoy the pool and hot tub. I liked that it had a restaurant attached to the hotel and meals were able to be charged to the room. The customer service was fantastic. I cannot wait to go back and would recommend... More

Whenever I'm stuck overnight in Sudbury this is my first choice for a hotel. I find the hotel clean, comfortable and conveniently / centrally located. Perkins restaurant is attached, which is always good for a high calorie breakfast :) I've never had an issue with noise, or the such. The pool in the basement is a little too cool for... More

Been staying at Travelodge Hotels in Sudbury, North Bay, Pembroke, Ottawa for 24 years and the only one that I was disappointed with, was in Brace Bridge Ont. Other then that, I always stay in Travelodge hotels when ever possible.

Hockey team trip, A 500$ worst weekend experience having to deal with staff, mouldy bathroom, uncomfortable bed, no lounge for adults to get together for drinks, kids were allowed in hallways until nine pm, cold shower unless you where first up which includes entire hotel, some staff were unhappy, power trip security was unreasonable, as a team of 15 parents... We host several sports teams here at The Travelodge Hotel Sudbury. It is a careful balance in providing our teams with what they need and ensuring our other guests are comfortable as well. This is the reason so many of our teams return to us time and time again. I am disappointed that you feel you and your team were... More
