we did a girls getaway in Stratford this past weekend and had the best time at this nice Bed and Breakfast place called Viburnum house (see link http://www.viburnumhouse.com). Penny and Ken were a nice couple that take lots of pride and care in their home. 4 girls in 2 spacious rooms that were immaculently kept on the second floor. a big, bright and spacious bathroom (extremely clean) and a nice room full of books and a couch for you to relax in. They also welcome you to spend time in the living room and common area on the main floor. The breakfast was great, completed with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, juice and coffee. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a place to stay at Stratford. It's a nice leisurely 8 minute walk to downtown Stratford where all the shops are. The Avon Theatre is a quick 5 minute drive (or you can walk it 15 - 20 minutes). Rates were very good. Never stayed a Bed and Breakfast before but this will be the first of many after this... more
