Our annual pilgrimage to Stratford is highlighted by great theater and punctuated by our stay at Foster's. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Service is excellent. Rooms are comfortable and the food and drinks can't be beat.

5 years ago we discovered Foster's while on a business trip, and now return 2 or 3 times each year when in the area for business. Great food, friendly helpful staff, love the rooms, and Craig the owner goes so far above and beyond to make his customers happy! When we were leaving for the day to work (at 6:30... More

We checked into Foster's Inn (1 p.m. check in ,Nice) Great room, great host checking in ,Brandon. We decided to eat there as well as it was real cold and we didn't feel like leaving. Dinner was excellent, Tenderloin for myself and Steak Nicoise salad for my wife. We were very pleased. Service was again excellent and we got the bonus... More

I stayed at Foster's Inn for one night while in Stratford for business. It's a charming place. My room was huge with comfortable and stylish furnishings. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Clean. Free wifi. Cable TV. I'd definitely come to stay again.

We stayed here for two nights while "doing" the Festival and were very pleasantly surprised. I was a bit concerned that staying in an inn located over a pub might prove un-restful. However, we heard no noise from downstairs (and it was busy) and the lodgings were very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Also, the location on Downie street, is... More

Jan. 3rd. 22f for dinner ...go there every year so they had a heads up. Husbands boss has a dinner party for staff. They were out of mussels...bacon and potato soup...pecan squares...and trouble getting the crackle on creme brûlée... Ordered the surf and turf...tried to find the lobster....steak was tasteless. What was good. Caesars. And service....price over the top. Next... More

Just stopped in for a quick lunch before a play at the Festival Theatre. Really nice atmosphere and the service was first rate. I liked the open kitchen, too. The mussels were really good, although the pizza was a bit lacklustre and a tad undercooked. But a minor criticism. I'd definitely recommend Foster's.

Inside Foster’s Inn, we suddenly notice that it’s raining quite hard outside and that we have only 15 minutes left before curtain and our play (Man of La Mancha) begins at the Festival’s Avon Theatre on Downie Street. Nonetheless, we really don’t care, because the inn is literally steps away from the theatre, thus mirroring the famous real-estate mantra: “Location,... More

I was a bit skeptical as I walked up towards the hotel/restaurant. I was visiting Stratford for the first time, and didn't really know anything about the area. I was pleasantly surprised as I entered the room; like a guest room in an old house, but very roomy with modern amenities. I've been more and more impressed with the hotel... More

We were in Stratford on business and we were booked at Foster's. As we approached I was a little concerned but we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was very nice and clean. The staff is great and very helpful. Reading the negative reviews I have to believe those reviewers don't travel much. The restaurant is very good as well. Parking... More
