My fiance and I stayed here three nights while taking in some plays at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. It's located in a quiet neighborhood outside the downtown area, not really close enough to walk to all the theatres BUT for active folk, it's a 5-10 minute bike ride to anywhere you need to go (we loved that!). Thank you. Did you know that when walking you can take a short cut accross the park? The walls are sound insulated but the solid oak doors required by the fire marshell, do not block the noise as effectively. We enjoy having guests stay for several days and sharing their travel stories. More

We stayed at Hal and Barb's Festival Guest House and really enjoyed our stay. The room was quite large, with an ensuite bathroom (shower) and two twin beds. Very quiet. We were heavily booked with two plays and three tours, so did not spend too much time at the B&B. The breakfast was very good and filling. Nice to chat... More

Sorry you did not have more time at breakfast as that is one of the perks of staying at a B and B. Your organizing skills would be useful as a tour director as you filled all the time open to you. More

A great stay was had at this quirkly little B&B. We started the stay with a good soak in the hot tub which was a great way to relax after the drive from Toronto. Unlike chain motels, B&B's vary widely depending on the idiosychracies of the owners, and your level of satisfaction depends upon what you're seeking. Beautiful winding stone front entrance (13 steps) leads to the open concept welcoming common area of our home. Enjoy your stay in one of our four large guest rooms, each with their own ensuite bathrooms and sitting areas. There are various porches encirling the house if you have some time for relaxation with a cofee or a glass of wine. There are multiple water features, fruit trees swings and colourful area around the wrap-around backyard. For the more adventurous the is also an indoor six seater hot tub in the sunroom available for Guest Use. Don't forget Breakfast, witch is served between 7&10am, and includes waffels, french toast or omelettes, a fresh fruit salad, homemade granola, toast, enless cofee, tea and juice.
