Had the pleasure of staying at this excellent B&B while attending the Stratford Shakespeare festival in June, 2015. Made to feel quite at home. It is clear that the family who runs this establishment aims to please on all accounts; from the delicious homemade granola in the morning, helpful advice on where to eat and what to see in the... Hello Laurie, Thank you for your wonderful review. We enjoyed your stay and sharing you adventure stories. Glad to meet those who appreciate Geraint Wyn Davies as much as we do. Hope the theatre and Nigel brings you back to Stratford but I know it is hard to compete with New York City. More

Stayed at this B+B in June while attending the Stratford Festival. Enjoyed the beautiful gardens , found them relaxing and calming with many water features There were many places to sit and just listen to the birds and the water falls. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were friendly and very welcoming. They made some good suggestions for places to... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Garden Stroll B & B. We had a spacious and clean room with a bathroom inside of the room with a shower and a bunch of different sizes of towels. The garden was absolutely charming, the breakfast was tasty and conversations at the table kept everything in a good StratFest tradition. We... More

We chose this B & B online based on several positive reviews -- and we're very glad we did. The family has been running this lovely property for 22 years and, in that time, has developed one of the most well thought through and comfortable B & Bs compared to a long list of other places we've stayed over the... This is a special B&B! My daughter and I stayed here for two nights while taking in three plays at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. The location is perfect! The room had two very comfortable clean beds, huge bathroom that had fresh towels and lots of hot water! We enjoyed our wine and discussed the plays that we were going to... More

Thank you Julie, We love having families stay with us for more than one night. By the second breakfast it feels like a family visit. You looked so at home with your wine in the hor tub. We look forward to meeting more of your family on anothr visit. More

My fiance and I stayed here three nights while taking in some plays at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. It's located in a quiet neighborhood outside the downtown area, not really close enough to walk to all the theatres BUT for active folk, it's a 5-10 minute bike ride to anywhere you need to go (we loved that!). Hal and Barb... More

Thank you. Did you know that when walking you can take a short cut accross the park? The walls are sound insulated but the solid oak doors required by the fire marshell, do not block the noise as effectively. We enjoy having guests stay for several days and sharing their travel stories. More

We stayed at Hal and Barb's Festival Guest House and really enjoyed our stay. The room was quite large, with an ensuite bathroom (shower) and two twin beds. Very quiet. We were heavily booked with two plays and three tours, so did not spend too much time at the B&B. The breakfast was very good and filling. Nice to chat... More

Sorry you did not have more time at breakfast as that is one of the perks of staying at a B and B. Your organizing skills would be useful as a tour director as you filled all the time open to you. More

A great stay was had at this quirkly little B&B. We started the stay with a good soak in the hot tub which was a great way to relax after the drive from Toronto. After a walk around the pretty lake and some good food we had a good night's sleep before a great breakfast of fruit and Barb's egg... More

Unlike chain motels, B&B's vary widely depending on the idiosychracies of the owners, and your level of satisfaction depends upon what you're seeking. So I will try to be as objective as possible without commenting on whether I find these factors to be pros or cons. - This is a relatively modern home, built in the 1960's. But it has... More
