this is going to be a long review. Upon arriving on a rather grey, chilly, rainy, snowy November afternoon I was warmly greeted by gracious ambiance, soft playing classical music and Tony who carried my luggage upstairs all the while chatting and making me feel instantly welcome. The room was larger than anticipated and the windows in the bay window... More

Lovely home hosted by very gracious, helpful & entertaining couple. They make you feel at home & are very accommodating. Breakfast served in dining room @ 0900 was wonderful all three mornings w/beautiful fruit plate followed by a egg/veggie creation from Laura, orange juice, tea or coffee & of course her to die for scones! The two comfortable rooms we... More

We recently stayed one night at Duggan Place. We found it nice, comfortable beds and linens and down pillows. Breakfast was very well done. The only negative- the balcony off our room , had not been swept in a long time. Lots of dead leaves and pine needles everywhere. It would be a one minute job, to sweep the balcony... More

We are from Scotland and we stayed at this B&B with our Canadian relatives. We were taking in a show and decided to book here. All the rooms in the house were tastefully decorated and Tony and Laura were excellent hosts. The breakfast was a sight to behold. The fruit was laid out like a bird and the "main course"... More

This was the perfect place for a two night relaxing getaway. We saw a play at the theatre, and other than that, just wanted to chill in the suite. We loved our space, and especially enjoyed the sunny balcony in the mornings. There is endless attention to detail, and as soon as you walk in the building you feel like... More

We just spent two lovely nights at the Duggan Place a Heritage Inn. We were absolutely delighted to arrive at this cozy, comfortable inn and discover such a warm welcome. Our room, The Carmela Room, was quite spacious and comfortable. Tony went above and beyond as a host, scraping the snow off our car before we went out each time... More

We've been to Duggan Place twice now. We returned because it was such a relaxing place to stay from the "welcome and please settle yourself in" note in the front hall (along with chocolates) to the comfy bed all the way to the delicious breakfast. Tony and Laura are warm and gracious hosts who truly care to make their guests... More

We booked Duggan Place for the proximity to a relative's house. Upon arrival we were greeted by a smiling Lisa. Fireplace was lit and very welcoming. Briefly met Tony whilst Lisa was showing us to our room and provided us with a key for our room and a key for the front door. We felt very comfortable and we're thrilled... More

Took a little trip by myself to see some Shakespeare in Stratford and decided to stay at a B&B. Laura and Tony could not have been nicer and more gracious hosts. Laura's souflee was incredible as was the coffee. Tony kept a lively conversation going and I don't think I've had a more interesting chat with such nice people in... More

Our room was bright, clean and welcoming, but we had the extra benefit of having a kitchen, deck and lounging area all to ourselves, as our room also had a loft! A huge benefit to anyone staying more than one night! Breakfast was a most delightful experience as Laura is obviously an expert cook who knows how to prepare a... More
