We stayed in the Dome Room for three days in August. We were treated like a King and Queen! The room was spotless, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The Hotel has a great ambiance, and a lot of interesting history. It was reasonably priced and we highly recommend it. Charlie & Anita... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Queen's Inn many times...the location is incomparable. As noted in other reviews, restaurants, theaters, shopping are all within walking distance and the parking is free. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and our room (#304) was big enough, and pleasant, but really should be redone, particularly the bathroom, where I found... More

It's easy to confuse the overall Stratford experience (lovely village, superb theatrical performances, good food [elsewhere]) with the quality of this old, tacky, substandard, overpriced inn. Caveat emptor: there are much better, cheaper, close accommodations elsewhere.

After a 4 night/ 5 day long camping expedition in Tobermory Ont., my boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights on our way back to Toronto. Felt like luxury to us, but to the average visitor it would still be a welcoming getaway. Very personal service at the front desk. On our last day we enjoyed the Sunday brunch... More

This older inn in downtown Stratford is ideal for those who wish to walk to all of the Festival's theatres. The room was badly in need of updating (I stayed in #315, which overlooked the parking lot). There is heavy, musty carpeting throughout all three floors...the corridors smelled badly. Unfortunately, the inn is pet-friendly, which is fraught with all sorts... More

Stayed at the Queen's Inn for a 2 night theater trip to Stratford. Of course, what everyone says is undeniable--the location for a theater stay is perfect. It was 2 blocks to the Avon theater and a pleasant 10 block stroll along the lake to the Festival theater. You never need the car, but still, parking is free and easy.... More

Probably the most central and reasonably priced accommodation one can find for serious theatre lovers. The 4 main venues are easily reached. This hotel is clean although old. It is well kept but shows its age. As a place to sleep, so as to get to the shows, it works very well. The staff are charming. I would stay here... More

We were going to 2 plays on a Saturday, so our friends booked the Queen's Inn. The only room left was a suite, so 2 bedrooms for the 4 of us. It was very nice. We had large seating area and kitchen. Our bedroom had king bed, and quite spacious, but the A/C was a little noisy. We realized later... More

Perfect location for all of the theatres -- and for cycling. A heritage building so it is old with some odd twists and turns, but that adds to the character. Bed was comfortable, there is a small fridge in the room, and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. Food was good, price was right, and the parking is free.

You can certainly spend a lot more for a place to stay in Stratford but you don't get any more or better than you get at the Queen's Inn. This Inn is situated in the heart of Stratford and is very close to all 4 of the Festival theatres and within very easy walking distance of 3 of them. It... More
