Thoroughly enjoyed our "home away from home" at Haig Street B&B in April and again in September. Most comfortable beds and linens, spacious main floor bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, lovely guest dining/sitting room, beautiful gardens, and delicious seasonal breakfast. Joan & Dave are gracious hosts with abundant knowledge of both theatre and Stratford. I look forward to returning next season.

My friend and I had tickets for the theatre and our choice of B and B could not have been better. We were accommodated in a clean, quiet, comfortable room separated from the other guests for our privacy. There is a nice sitting area with dining table where we enjoyed a view of the gardens. Our morning started with a... More

My mother and I enjoyed the Haig Street B&B on a last minute getaway to Stratford in September. We shared a bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed partitioned by a curtain. This afforded each of us some privacy without the expense of booking two rooms. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean and comfortable, and quiet. Haig... More

My husband and I stayed at the Haig Street B & B in July and September 2014. We wanted a peaceful and welcoming place to call home for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of Toronto. Since we had tickets for shows at the Festival Theatre on both occasions and we had round trip tickets for the Stratford... More

This is our third year staying at this B&B. We have stayed at dozens of B&B's in this area and this one is one of the best. Very comfortable rooms. Our favorite room, the green room is very spacious. Comfortable bed, we slept like logs. Very good breakfast with a good variety, the omelets are great. The host couple are... More

We stayed at Haig St. for our tenth annual trip to Stratford - 4 nights this time. The green room accommodates 3 very well, is always spotless, the beds comfortable. Breakfast is a treat for eye and palate. More importantly, Joan and Dave are infinitely welcoming, very knowledgeable about the Festival and make our stay there as special as the... More

We stayed at three different B&Bs during our recent trip through Ontario, and this one was probably our favorite. It's reasonably priced, the hosts are welcoming, and the breakfasts are excellent. It is about a mile walk to the various theaters, which was reasonable for us, especially given that we had beautiful weather and much of it was a pleasant... More

Just stayed a night with Joan & Dave Ayton - what a wonderful place to stay. Hostess is very friendly. Bedroom and bathroom (we stayed in the blue room) are spotless and comfy. Woke up to a beautifully served breakfast - a bowl of fresh fruit was awaiting for us on the dinner table and then Joan served a very... More

We stayed one night at the Haig Street B&B while attending two shows at the Stratford Festival. The room was lovely. There was a nice sitting room where we enjoyed chatting with other guests. Breakfast was delightful. We would definitely stay there again.

We have traveled to Stratford for the Shakespeare Festival for over 25 years and stayed in many different places but never found THE one that we thought we would return to until this year. We stayed with Joan and David at Haig St. B&B and now will plan to return there when we are in Stratford again. The hospitality of... More
