Great location - close to downtown. The room was private. The hallways were dark. This Inn is not for the budget traveller - morning coffee is ten dollars. I was charged five dollars plus tax for the maid gratuity even though the "maid" was the owner. The female Inn-keeper justified this charge by saying that it was a "small amount".... More

Thank you for your review. In her first email to us, Louise was offered the regular Room-Only rate of $99.00 per night for her requested 3-night stay. In this email Louise asked about having coffee instead of breakfast. Yes, we did quote $10.00 for coffee as it is not a simple procedure of turning on a machine. In our business,... More

I would recommend Springbank House to anyone looking for a wonderful B&B that is conveinient to the entire Niagra area from the Falls to Niagra on the Lake to the western most wineries. Andrea and Stephen are a wonderful host combination and their attention to the needs of the guest was incredible. Food preparation and presentation was first class. Thank... More

A friendly, welcoming bed and breakfast in a beautiful old (early 20th century) home in an area of other beautiful old well kept homes. We enjoyed St. Catherines and the surrounding area with a group of close friends for the Niagara wine festival and other area attractions. It is conveniently located for travel to wine country, the falls, Welland Canal... More

A fabulous stay in the off season! We so enjoyed our stay with Andrea & Stephan, who are a charming and passionate couple. The period house is charming, the breakfasts are to die for and it is perfectly situated close to fabulous restaurants in downtown St. Catherine's and all the wineries (from BeamsvIlle to Niagara on the Lake). Thank you... More

We stayed at Springbank for the second time while exploring Niagara wine country. The proximity to this wine region is outstanding. Andrea and Stefan are consummate hosts and I wish to thank them for a wonderful long weekend. Friends of ours were with us for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed Springbank and a wonderful dinner superbly prepared Sunday evening.... More

We planned a 5 day trip around the Greater Niagara Circle Route - a 140 km paved trail along the Niagara River and Welland Canal, from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie. We took the GO Bike Train down from Toronto to St. Catharines and the cycled to Springbank, in the historic Yates heritage area. Andrea stowed our bikes away in... More

This B&B is a nice, large house with friendly innkeepers. There is a parlor and a dining room for breakfasts for common space and 4 bedrooms of various size. The house is clean and you are invited to ask for anything you need, but period fixtures and furnishings means no modern upgrades in bathrooms and no bedside table. A quiet... More

Springbank House is a large Heritage property built in 1909. It is true that the A/C is not a very high efficiency system and it may not be very cold in some guestrooms We are proud that the integrity of the property was not "basterdized" by lowering the ceilings and reducing the size of the guestrooms in order to install... I just returned from 5 days in St. Catharines for a conference at Brock U. Springbank House, as others write, was a wonderful experience with warm, welcoming and helpful hosts. The house is over 100 years old in a lovely neighborhood within the heart of St. Catharines, and a 12 minute drive to the Brock campus. I stayed for 4 nights,... More
