The motel is older but is very clean. Basic cable. Fridge and microwave in room. The hosts are very kind. No in room movie selection however the front has a lot if VHS if you so desire. Close to a Tim Hortons. Concrete walls so noise from other guests isnt an issue. Its economic and a good value.

I would say older them some but cleaner then all... The owner greeted us with a big smile very nice. room were clean and comfortable. It is amazing to see how these small hotels can give us such a good price and be so clean compare to some chain hotels. A place to stay for sure when passing in Sault... More

We stayed at the Bel-Air Motel in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on 2015 May 29. During booking the Hotwire web site told us that the motel was in the same class, 2.5 star, as Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Suites amongst others. This is very misleading. The Bel-Air is about a 1 star place. Pros- The shower worked well. We... More

Our room was equipped with a micro/fridge which is always a help on a road trip. The room, which featured a single queen bed, was very small and cramped, not really suitable for two people. The room was outdated but okay for a one night stay. The staff were very nice and there was a restaurant next door. This place... More

Wow! How did we end up booking this place through Expedia?!?! I guess the good news was that we were on the ground floor and it cost slightly less than $100 but in our view it would probably be priced correctly at $45/night. The window air conditioner was, like most window units, terribly noisy and the walls were paper thin.... More

The furniture was very dated. The bathroom was not well kept and cold. The bed was ok but not the best quality mattress. The room wasn't the cleanest. There were people in the yard till late, making lots of noise.

Spent one night here. I had reserved 2 rooms. The first room was not the best but liveable. The second room was disgusting...paint coming off walls, dirty carpets, dirty windows and stunk. So we asked for another room and it was also filthy. Extremely dirty carpet, smelly, stained bathtub, no plug ins in the bathroom and slept on beds that were... More

Dear Susan you bring 2-cats and reserved pet friendly rooms. Unfortunately being a small motel we have only two pet friendly rooms so we cannot offer you any other rooms. Also we showed you both the rooms and you selected one room and at that time you dont wont to cancel your reservation. At the time you stayed the rooms... More

Motel and room were highly dated but room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Very friendly arrival and helpful. If you are looking for a no frill place to stay and are not concerned with the dated decor and furniture, this hotel represent a decent value.

The hotel is on a major bus route, has a convenience store selection of breakfast items (each item was wrapped), and it's really quiet since it borders on a residential area. Excellent cable tv. I was offered a selection of vhs, at check-in. Went to a couple of yard sales one morning. Usually has rooms available for a last minute... More

The motel is one included with the Agawa Train Tour packages, so we assumed it was OK, just no frills. After reading negative reviews we contemplated changing motels at our expense, but we took a risk and stayed here for two nights. At check-in we explained why we were hesitant to stay. The woman claimed bad reviews were from upset... More
