Everything was adequate, but nothing was mind blowing in my opinion. The hotel was clean and the room was nice enough. I found the bed a little too hard for my liking. The food in the hotel was very good, although it was a little pricey. I enjoyed my time there More

Thanks for taking time to review the Inn. Although you didn’t find us “mind-blowing”, we’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. If you do come by again, (please do), we’d appreciate you filling out a guest comment card or just telling us what we could do to exceed your expectations. Guests are our best marketers and have... Chose the Water Tower Inn so that we could have a get-together with Soo Friends at the Pub. Opted for the "Sweet Suite" for just a bit more $$, and it was perfect. The Snugglebed was just that! Service with a smile, everywhere - even the cleaning staff went out of their way to smile and say Hello. Enjoyed the... More

Thanks for your kind kudos. (Story is that a good friend of ours walked into one of these suites just when they were being created in 2010, looked around, and said “sweet”. Hence the Sweet Suites). These suites provide guests with a sitting room with sleeper sofa, and a separate bedroom with queen bed and modern bathroom. A plus is... More

We stayed in this hotel for a week in November. The location is good, near restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and we took advantage of the restaurant on site, the food was good but rather pricey and it was a rather limited menu. I will say that the website makes the rooms out to be... More

We stayed here one night as we thought we would explore Sault Ste Marie in the morning before returning to the United States. The room was fairly expensive (the highest on our trip) - the room was nice enough but this is an older hotel remodeled and the bathroom was very small but it had been innovatively redesigned. It sounded... More

My first stay in this hotel which is located in a newer area (north) of the city Sault Ste Marie Ontario. Location is very good with many restaurants and other services in the area, better than downtown area where things are not going as briskly as in this newer area. The hotel is great with a nice lobby and nice... More

How can you ask for anything more. Great people, awesome atmosphere and feather pillows to boot. I stay at the Inn every trip to the Sault. It's a total one stop. From the great food at Casey's, live bands in the bar and outdoor hot tub, this is not a stay, it's an experience. Join the President's Club rewards program.... More

Before I begin this review, I'd best state that this is not normally the kind of accommodation we choose on holiday as we usually prefer something a little more personal and this hotel reminded us somewhat of those generic Holiday Inn-type hotels - although perhaps with slightly more character. However, there are certainly good points in its favour. We found... More

Thank you for your review, and glad you enjoyed your stay. We were somewhat surprised at the generic label you gave us, and I will explain. The Inn was conceived and built by the Hilsinger family, who have been operating the hotel for 37 years. So we have always prided ourselves on being a stand-alone, non-cookie-cutter type of property. Each... More

My husband and I travelled from Toronto to Sault Ste. Marie in order to take the Agawa Canyon Train Tour. We booked a 2 night package which included this hotel. We were greeted with a welcome bag which included peanut brittle, cookies, fudge, chocolate and other yummy treats. We also got two books of tickets for free admission to museums,... More

This is a lovely review, and we thank you for it. You know, people come to Sault Ste. Marie after Labour Day, thinking it will be off-season, only to find the inns and hotels are full. But the red maples here are so brilliant in September, that the fall colour tour train is fully reserved, and accommodations are hard to... More

We always stay at the Water Tower Inn when we plan to spend the night at the Soo. The rooms are exceptional, spotless and beautifully decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable with generous pillows and fresh duvet covers. Their pool, sauna and hot tubs are a delight for the children and ourselves after a long day traveling. It is a... Well thank you. The Inn is great for family vacations as well as business travel because of the extraordinary number of room and suite layouts…plus the dining and recreation options all under one roof. There is plenty of parking for large vegicles, trailers and other rigs. And travelers with snowmachines and motorcycles especially appreciate the indoor storage we can offer... More
