From the front desk greeting in the afternoon to our breakfast the next morning, we were met by friendly staff, and really enjoyed the many amenities available at this great facility. We had a refreshing swim in the large pool, then relaxed in the hot tub, and topped the evening with a delicious steak dinner. We would highly recommend this... more

Entering the room was disappointing thought I went threw a time warp and back to the 70's. Mismatch furniture, old small t.v. dusty lamp shade. dark dingy wallpaper. I obviously didn't get one of the renovated rooms. more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel and were not very impressed. It is definitely overpriced! The convenience of having the pool, hot tub, gift shop, two restaurants and a pub on site is nice, but if you don't have a lot of time to use those things, the room is definitely not worth the $122 "discount rate" we... more

I was only passing by the city and stop there after reading the reviews. The hotel ensemble is nice but the room that I got was old and not that clean. I wasn't a bad place but for the price I expected something a little better and less used... more

We left the Great Northern, which should be called "Great Dump", as we were disgusted by the smell and overall cleanliness of the place. The staff at The Water Tower Inn were extremely helpful. They got us a beautiful, CLEAN, room that was over and beyond our expectations. The staff were all extremely friendly as well. The pool is gorgeous... more

Really enjoyed our stay at the Water Tower Inn - staff were super friendly and helpful; they made us feel like it was our home away from home. Room was nicely furbished and very clean. Had a great rib dinner at their restaurant. Lovely pool area and pleasant outdoor courtyard. And they even feature Starbucks coffee! more

Went to the Sault last September with a family member to see the colours and, having stayed at this hotel previously, booked in there. Others may enjoy the spa and pool but, for me, after a day on the train in the fresh air, nothing was as relaxing as the bar with its superb martinis - vodka of course. We... more

I was picked up at the airport for a great getaway. I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and found that the staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and I slept like a baby. Great hotel for business and pleasure. I am making plans to stay at the hotel again this fall and... more

Arrived at the hotel and we were greeted by friendly staff at the front. We had reserved a family suite and after we looked at it our kids decided they wanted their own room so we went back and tried to change the suite to two rooms. Part of the problem is that the family suite was right by the... more

Like a lot of the other reviewers I found this place to be very expensive. I booked for one rate and got a higher rate when arrived. The front desk staff gave you the feeling that they were looking down on you. I had just gotten out of car after 6 hours with two small children and didn't look my... more
