When I arrived as this place it looked like a nice hotel that was not part of a chain. The guy at the desk was not happy at all, however it was New Years, so I get that. I went to our room and it smelled horrible the whole way down the hall and in our room as well. We... More

We did not enjoy our stay at the Drawbridge Inn. The overpowering smell in the room gave me a terrible headache that lasted for the entire weekend. The room was absolutely freezing. There were not even any extra blankets in the room. The hotel emailed me to ask how we enjoyed our room. I replied two days ago but they... More

Conveniently located...antique furniture accents...great friendly employees. Rooms are little dated...but the whole place just oozes charm. I was there for a Euchre tournament in another facility. The Drawbridge let us use a downstairs meeting place for our practicing and mini tournaments. I am glad that I did not believe any of the negative reviews. Being here for 3 days was... More

Here's what I liked about this hotel: The price was good and cheaper than most other hotels. It was safe and clean. The hotel was right across the street from the Robert Q bus station (which connects with Via Rail in London). Best of all, the hotel was just down the street from Sarnia's only vegan restaurant (Greens Organic Cafe'... More

I booked the hotel through booking.com and got a rate of $79.00 for the first night and $59.00 for the next two nights. Once I checked in, I realized immediately the rate of $79.00 was too high, that $59.00 was more like it. The location was good; right downtown, however, the hotel has seen little or no renovations. The air... More

The internet pictures of the hotel look nice, but not the case in person! I am not sure, but to speculate, I would think it hasn't had any reno's since the 60's. The bathroom tub had mould and the sinks had big chips out of them. When I went to have a bath, I needed to rinse the tub of... More

Found this hotel on the internet for a really good price. Stayed in Sarnia for no reason, just sight seeing in Ontario. We couldn't have picked a better hotel! Close to the boarder, the room was very nice. The girl at the front desk was excellent! We got there late and she helped us pick out a place to eat.... More

We accidently booked the wrong date with booking.com. When we arrived the staff noted that we were not booked that night. We were horrified...and on a long weekend! No problem they said...they contacted booking.com, gave us the same amazing rate we had gotten for that night! We had asked for a cot for our grandson and they quickly got one... More

We made a reservation a week or so before going to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. We were lucky that the Canada Day fireworks had been rescheduled for the night we were there, so the location of this hotel was perfect for going to view the fireworks. We were pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to a suite. It wasn't... More
