Reserved on line for this historic landmark hotel. What a disappointment and RUDE desk attendant. We opted to pay cash upfront and requested to see the room. We were told "go ahead and look but you will pay for the room anyway" Then, we were asked for a $200 deposit in cash since we were paying in cash. We are... More

We enjoyed our stay, the pool was OK, breakfast in the morning was good, and the staff were cordial. My issue is with the "pot smokers" a few doors down. We traveled with our children, and all day Saturday and Sunday, all we could smell was marijuana, when we said something to the front desk, they said that there wasn't... More

Stayed one night in this Inn. Great staff and a nice clean room with a comfortable king size bed. It is a bit dated but still shows well. Only negative was that there was something loose outside our window and it kept banging the wall, which affected our sleep. Notwithstanding the two hours of snow removal in the middle of... More

I was driving my S.O to Flint, MI from Toronto, ON for a conference on Friday and we didn't want to stay in the States overnight. He found the Drawbridge Inn based on proximity to the border (so I wouldn't have to drive far in the evening after already having driven 6hrs earlier that day) as well as its price... More

This Hotel was the only Hotel left in Sarnia for the U-17 World Hockey Tournament. The rooms are dirty, the drywall tape is peeling off the ceiling , the tv doesn't work properly, it stinks, the bathtub is worn , the towels small and like sandpaper, the front desk staff although pleasant , haven't really got a clue about anything.... We recently stayed here for one night. The hotel is dated as many others have said but is in a great location - close to many restaurants/pubs and one block from the water. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible, hard on the eyes and made it difficult to see. We had an adjoining room to ours and the guests... More

Paid $305 (in advance) including tax for 3 rooms. Upon checking in was informed that a $600 deposit '$200 per room) was required befor we could get our key. Rooms are old, oudated, WiFi doesn't work & it smells. Have NEVER had to pay 2x the cost of a room in a hotel as a security deposit! Will never ever... More

Staff is very friendly and very accommodating for what they have. It is outdated and run down and very smelly. I would only recommend this if your an extremely tight budget. This place is an extreme budget hotel that has towel and power issues and you need to ask for a refrigerator and air conditioning was put in promptly....in the... More

We stayed here on a weekend for a Lacrosse tournament with the family. Hotel is ok, it is older and shows it's age. Goes for the Tudor look. Our room was small and the bathroom was dated. Location however is great, close to everything. Kids loved the pool with a large water slide. Once again dated. It's one if those... More
