Fantastic. Liz is a gem. You feel like you are staying with family. The room was lovely, the food was delicious, the location was perfect and thank you Felicia and Henry for your comment. I would return in a heartbeat and have already referred Liz and her home to 2 families. The screened in front porch was perfect for enjoying... More

This was my first experience with a B&B and it was everything I expected. Liz greeted my boyfriend and I with the biggest smile as soon as we walked into her enclosed porch. She was so informative about the island and things to see and do. The room was very quaint and her other guests were lovely! In the morning... More

When someone mentions the beauty of Ontario's own Pelee Island, what can often come to mind are its winery, tranquil nature paths and how it is a nearby from the hectic pace of urbanized life. For my friends and I who visited Pelee from July 12 to July 15, Pelee was this and so much more. The unassuming "more" was... More

Stayed overnight on Pelee on a recent Sunday evening. Love, love, LOVED this place.Liz is a friendly and gracious hostess. Beautiful old stone home. We stayed in the ensuite but any of the rooms would be fine. Gorgeous décor throughout. We liked the white/blue stars on the wallpapered ceiling in the bath - neat idea, and it works. Breakfast was... More

We spent three nights on Pelee and the Gathering Place became our home. Comfortable room, wonderful breakfasts, great location. The owner Liz is terrific. She knows all about the island and what there is to do. We swapped ideas about books to read, places to travel, etc. a delightful stay.

We can't say enough about this place. The hostess Liz is amazing. From the minute you walk in the door you can't help but feel like you are being welcomed by an old friend. She is so down to earth, so funny, and very knowledgeable about the island and its history. She sits you down straightaway and helps you plan... More

We stayed here for one night. Quiet location with spacious frontyard to sit and relax in the afternoon and early morning. Sunroom/ dining room facing lake; one can relax on couches all evening with view of the lake. Awesome breakfast. Delicious and sumptuous. The best of all is the hostess herself; she's such a friendly, kind and downtoearth lady.

We have stayed at the Gathering Place three times (every couple years). We love the beautiful stone house, the hosts, Liz and Vic are the best and the location is great. The place is well kept, clean, and we always meet fun people who are also staying there. There are a number of nice B&Bs on Pelee but we just... More

We have just came back from a wonderful 2 days at Pelee Island. We stayed ad Liz and Vic's beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The grounds are beautiful with a long front yard and welcoming Adirondack chairs that look over the water and the most amazing sunsets. The private beach is steps across the street where the is a sandy beach... More

My husband & sisler in law & I stayed here in August for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Liz was an excellent hostess...the breakfast was to die for!! It felt like a home away from home. So relaxing. Even when the power went out on the whole island we were able to enjoy a game of cards by candle... More
