My boyfriend and I came to Ottawa for a relaxing weekend getaway, and we were not disappointed. The hotel staff (especially David at the front desk) were extremely helpful, and quick to suggest local hot spots to help us make the most of our time in the city. We were very please with everything throughout our stay (especially David at... More

My husband and I just returned from spending a week at the Indigo Hotel. It was a breath of fresh air. Not a cookie-cutter hotel. The interior of our room was lovely. We had a large bathroom with lots of counter space and a whirlpool tub with a separate shower. Very nice. The hotel staff were excellent and pleasant at... More

We arrived at the hotel at about midday and we received the room even thoug the person at the reception apologies because there was no room available for upgrade (I am platinum of Priority Club). It would have been very nice spending two nights in a more comfortable room. Anyway the room was very cosy but not enough large. We... More

We stayed here while attending a weekend of events for a family wedding. The hotel is clean and bright. The rooms are modern with interesting wall decoration, large bathrooms with glassed in shower, no tub. All the usual amenities. We used the pool which was clean. It is part of the Marriot Hotel which has inside access (parking the same... More

When on vacation, we don’t mind booking a chain hotel or a family-run B&B. What really count on favor are location, price in terms of cost and benefits and, last but not least, TripAdvisor reviews. Hotel Indigo deserves merits in all these three key decision for us. It is located in a business area of the capital, what means you... More

For the amount of money the hotel asks, I was not pleased. While it's very nicely decorated and the staff very kind, there's a few area's where it fell short: Only six rooms in the whole hotel have bath tubs. For those of us who really love a tub, this was a major downfall. Add to that the fact the... More

This is my absolute favorite hotel in Ottawa. I have been there three times before for business and have never been disappointed. There rooms have no carpeting, they feature semi-wood flooring, modern decor, a lot of light and space. It is always spotless, there is great maid service, seamless check-in, amazing staff. If you are in Ottawa for business or... More

I booked this hotel because I was running the Ottawa Army Run half-marathon and it was literally right around the corner from the start line. The location of the hotel was really good - 5min walk to the Rideau Canal and Parliament buildings. 10min walk to the market, restaurants and big mall. The rooms themselves are beautiful and well-appointed. Only... More

A good hotel but as is the case with "boutique" hotels, they are often independent or smaller corporate ventures, with unique ideas on customer service and decor. The rooms are decorated with a sense of flair and panache, which make for a pleasing and refreshing place to relax. The service is kind and prompt, and even when delayed room staff... More
