We have stayed at Avalon B&B on at least four separate occasions and each time has been great. We have also stayed in all rooms with the exception of the second bedroom on the upper floor and find the Pewter Room to be the nicest. Breakfasts are very good but we find them somewhat larger than we need and Christine... More

We stayed in the top floor room. The house is great, the room was very good, the breakfast was excellent and the owner (Christine) gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat in Ottawa. We were very happy and would certainly stay again. One should take into consideration, however, that the building is on the 'historic side' of things... More

I had a lovely stay at Avalon. The Pewter room is beautiful and the breakfasts were fantastic. Christine was really helpful and good company. The house is beautifully appointed and I found it easy to get around and to my meetings in downtown Ottawa. Highly recommend for business and holiday.

First time I stayed at a bed n breakfast in Ottawa. It was a very enjoyable experience. Loved my room and the inn keepers. Apollo their dog I fell in love with. Comfortable rooms n great breakfast. Will stay again

Nice rooms, 15 minute walk to the market (central Ottawa), great breakfast which kept you full the whole day! Hosts were very helpful (especially when it came to Ottawa recommendations) Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, a short walk to the heart of the city, and tasty breakfasts to wake up to :)

Avalon is in a quiet street in a nice neighbourhood, just round the corner from buses for downtown. We parked the car in the B&B's off-street space (a couple of minutes' walk away) and toured Ottawa on public transport. You will not be dissappointed when staying at this warm, charming and quiet home! Breakfast is wonderful, the hosts are more than helpful and the location is great if you enjoy a short walk to downtown Ottawa.
