This Hotel was amazing! The staff was very friendly, capable and effiecient. And most of them were biligual. We arrived late in the afternoon which was no problem. They offer a continental breakfast for a very long time in the morning including bagels, boiled eggs, toast, yogurt and your choice of drinks. The room was clean and tidy. The decor... more

This place is located right in the Byward Market downtown Ottawa. Our room was bright, clean, and well equipped.(fridge, microwave, glasses, and cutlery!). Although it was too cold to take advantage of the balcony, it was large and had a table and chairs. The decor was modern, Scandinavian motif. Simple yet comfortable and practical. Like a well appointed university dorm... more

The one thing going for this place is it's great location.... but aside from that there were many things that were unpleasant during our stay. The front desk person was not very pleasant and at times even rude, and the room had stains on the comforter and doors, the room had no artwork, alarm clock or tissue box, and at... more

I have stayed at many hotels and b&bs, but this was by far the worse experience of my life. Arrived around noon. No towels, no bedding. Left and came back in the evening - still nothing. Called management who asked us to move to another room an hour later. Packed up everything and moved, but new room was terrible in... more

We stayed mid-week during Winterlude at the Byward Blue Inn to avoid the big weekend crowds. The rooms are a little small, but adequate and you can't beat the location for a similar price. On the staff: We checked in during the evening and the young student-like worker there was incredibly helpful. He helped us with our bags, gave us... more

I paid ~90$ / night (taxes included) for a single room, a complete bathroom and a breakfast. The room was cleaned every day and there is someone at the desk 24/7. The breakfast was basic but unlimited. The parliament hill, the museums, the Rideau Canal are at less than 10 mn by foot. To summarize: it's simple hotel, very well... more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, very good for the budget conscious. We found the location very good, only a couple of minutes walk to the Byward Market with all the pubs and restaurants, quite handy as it was exceptionally cold the weekend we were there! The breakfast was a very passable continental style and although the room was... more

This is a great place for a great price - within walking distance to major attractions, and a great part of town with tons of restaurants and nightlife. Beautiful and clean room with hardwood floors and an outdoor patio. More charming than a typical hotel and the staff was pleasant and attentive. I would recommend this inn to anyone. more

We stayed here for 3 nights and thought it was a good little hotel. The room was a good size, comfortable and well equipped. The location is excellent, quick walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and shops in the Byward Market area and only about 10 minutes from Parliament Hill etc. Breakfast was fairly basic but ok for the... more

We stayed 3 nights in October. Had a room with micro, coffee maker and fridge. Clean, simple and everything functioned. Small confusion at breakfast. They seem to need a checklist of what they should have in the breakfast room for the number of guests in the Inn. It would save a lot of travel back and forth for pepper, water,... more
