The service is excellent and the breakfast are the best ever. The owners are very helpful people. Rooms are very comfortable. The ideal location in the heart of the ByWard Market, close to all the main attractions in Ottawa.

We find ourselves on the same wavelength as CAYNA of London, England in her review of this place. The place is reasonably clean otherwise at first site (and first smell) I am afraid that we would not have honoured our reservation. We did not find the place inviting: look at the pictures taken by reviewers. The place look dilapidated and...

I had a very nice time at this place which is located close to Bymarket. It`s very personal, Pierre told me all about I had to see and he really cared. Highly recommendable!
I frequently drive my daughter to Ottawa for the University of Ottawa and always stay in a bed and breakfast. I like to change things up and noticed this b&b back in April.
Based on the positive reviews, I decided to stay here.
The level of service and caring is outstanding. This feels like a real home, not a sterile...

Good reasonable accommodation if you don't mind shared bathroom facilities. Very friendly hosts with a nice breakfast provided. Only a short walk to the main city area.
Well what everyone else says about Pierre and his mom is true. They are really very helpful and go out of their way to give you advise (she even got a prize for this in the 90's, the proud certificate is on the hall wall) ... but now for the bad news .... The house they rent rooms in (they...

B&B is located in the best part of Ottawa. The National museum of Art, the Parliament, and the Byward market are near by the B&B. You can walk along the Ottawa River side.
If you want a cozy and warm place to stay, it is the best place you can find at least in Ottawa. Some places have fancy rooms...

The rooms are cosy as well as the house, but not spectacular in any way. On the other hand, what's spectacular is the service. Pierre is probably the best host we've ever experienced. He has such a keen ear and is wonderfully service minded. Probably the best breakfast we've had so far during our trip. Our friend who popped in...

This B&B's location is absolutely fantastic. Two blocks from the Byward Market and the National Arts Museum. You must visit the Notre Dame Basillica, again, two blocks away, just before the Art Museum. Incredibly close to the canal and Parliment (take the tour, it is really cool and much easier to enter than the Capital Building in D.C.) The host...

We have stayed at the Auberge des Arts twice (February 2006 for Winterlude and July 2006 for Canada Day) and we think it's fantastic.
Both times it has been $75 per night, tax and breakfast included. The location is brilliant - within walking distance of Parliament Hill, Byward Market, the Art Gallery and the Museum of Civilisation to name just...
