A beautiful, classic (but well-maintained) house located close to downtown, but off the busy thoroughfares. The Alexander House is conveniently located near downtown Ottawa and is only a half hour walk from the Byward Market. At a minimum, we expect a comfortable bed at a B&B. The bed lacked a headboard, the mattress was uncomfortable, the room was small. No dresser, so an electric teapot sat on the floor.
