For such a low price, its isn't too bad. We stayed a night. Very clean (could smell cleaning product when walking in, but got used to it). And the check-in was at 4:00 pm, which was a bit of hassle. But it had all necessitates, clean bed, (outdated furniture though, but it didn't matter, I was just looking for a... More

I stayed for 5 nights at the University of Ottawa residences, in a traditional single room. There is no air conditioning, but luckily the weather was not that hot in Ottawa. For the price (35/night) it was totally worth it. A couple pieces of advice, ask for extra pillows and towels/face cloths. They only give you one of each, but... More

We stayed here for a week in July in a two-bedroom unit at 90 University. I think the earlier reviews are quite fair in their descriptions - the accommodation is basic but I didn't expect more for the price. I just wanted a place to sleep after all. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and we were lucky enough... More

It was definitely 1 of the best deal we got during our trip to Eastern Canada. The room was beyond our expectation. Don't get your hopes high; this is not a hotel (esp. service wise). The room is conveniently big and the bathroom is undoubtedly bigger than standard room in most 3* hotels. They also provides endless supplies of towels.... More

We stayed at the University of Ottawa guest residence for 4 nights in early November while visiting family and friends. Although primarily a student residence the top floor is operated as a "hotel" for visitors to the university and city. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is within walking distance of the Parliament Buildings, the Byward Market,... More

We stayed at the UoO Residence for 3-nights over the Canada Day long weekend. We thought this would be a cheaper option than staying in a city hotel e.g. Holiday Inn. On reflection it wasn't the bargain we assumed it would be. Any savings you think you will make are consumed by the parking fee! The 2-bedroom suites are clean... More

The Staffs were rude, really rude! This is not worth a motel, this is a bunker! Never seen any kind of check-in 4pm and check-out 10:30am! The aftenoon reception girl when we came to check-in was rude, no smile, no help, no care. The reception guy of the evening was worse! When I asked him something and he said "I... More

We just spent two nights at 90 University, the tower containing 20 floors of so-called "apartments" (a misnomer: what it really is is two rooms connected by a small common space that functions as a pseudo-kitchen (no stove, no cooking, only fridge and microwave) with two chairs and a table. The bathroom contains a shower, toilet and a small sink.... More

Actually my small private dorm room in Marchand Residence hall was a tad less than US$200/week which includes the 13% provincial taxes. This is my second time staying here on campus and both times have been like being back in college minus the debauchery and drunken parties (lol). the room is small and is for one guest. It's a college... More

Location is great, walking distance from lots of attractions. However the rooms leave a bit to be desired. Utilitarian is the best word. The most basic of needs are met but that's about it. We stayed in a room with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a "kitchenette" (c/w fridge, microwave, and sink... nothing else! Not even a bowl and a... More
