Worn out elevators, hall carpet that's wavy, rooms that are far below expectation for a full Marriott, and waited forever for an elevator. Compared to most Marriott (not their sub categories like Courtyards, etc), this one is a real disappointment, especially for the price, my goodness. Pros: very central in downtown and next to Sparks Street, 10 mins walk to Parliament Hill. Cons: 1) no room safes. 2) lobby elevators are on elevated floor requiring lifting of luggage to climb steps from check-in desk (ramp is awkwardly located; need to walk farther to reach ramp).
