The bed was very spacious and the pillows were amazingly comfy. They also had a coffee maker in the room. Great views over Ottawa and just around the corner from Parliament. Staff at the front desk were very fiendly and welcoming. Parking was $21 (with in and out privileges) or $17 with no privileges. Parking accross was $16 (with no... more

I didn't get to spend a lot of time in my hotel room, but when I was there, I really enjoyed it. The bed was heavenly -- so comfy. I liked that they had a little personal coffee maker in the room. Quite spacious. Great views over Ottawa and just around the corner from Parliament. Oh, and the pool! I... more

Really came in the middle of the spectrum of expectation. It started really poorly, it almost seemed that the staff was wiped from the aftermath of the marathon. Overall the hotel is pretty well located, not too bad of of a walk to most sites. The biggest warning I can give is that if it will be warm check and... more

expensive but when you compare in the area around, seems reasonable. Internet expensive in/room but free in lobby. Breakfast buffet at 18$ is good value however regular reasonably priced restaurants near by. If you drive a big car beware, parking lot entry and driveway very narrow...keep the van at home more

A lot of the hotels downtown Ottawa are getting old and I will say this had one of the newer looks. Particularly when your looking at the carpet or wall treatments since that's often the last to get updated. Overall the hotel was a 4 star. The bedding, mattress and pillows were the hotel's strongest suit. I felt more comfortable... more

I stayed here for 3 nights in early April. Got a great deal on Priceline.com and expected the generic experience one gets at 3 - 4 star hotels. I was turned off by the Marriott chain having stayed in their downtown Pittsburgh location and had lumped them altogether but the Marriott in Ottawa was fantastic. I was and am very... more

We stayed for a couple of nights. The checkin staff was very friendly. Our room was clean. The shower was absolutely spotless. The cleaning staff did a great job. Believe it or not: the fitness center is open 24 hours a day! We were just basically looking for a room when we checked in, so I didn't bother upgrading. The... more

The Marriott's rooms have been rennovated recently and our's was very nice--modern, clean, comfortable. It was also a good size--enough room for a king bed, two chairs, a desk and still lots of floor space for suitcases, etc. Front desk service was very pleasant. Great location, steps away from the Parliament Buildings, the Supreme Court and the Sparks Street Mall.... more
