Very nice Victorian home with a great bedroom & also we were able to use the front sitting room to relax & look at Richards collection of travel books. The garden is so beautiful. Breakfast was fabulous especially the berry muffins (homemade). Richard gave great advice on how to plan to get the most out of our time in Ottawa.... More

My husband and myself had a wedding to attend in Ottawa this August(2014) and decided to arrive a few days prior to enjoy one of our favourite Canadian cities. We stayed in the King Edward's tower room for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The Victorian home was stunning, the room was a perfect size and we enjoyed the... More

Beautiful Victorian home, very clean. Room was excellent, good size, air conditioned, very comfortable, with small private balcony. Breakfast was great. Fresh fruit salad, freshly baked muffins, granola. One step up from Continental, although we were offered eggs, but there was no need. Terrific location, only 15 minute walk from Market, Parliament and downtown attractions. Richard was the perfect host.... More

We enjoyed our stay in the Tower Room very much. Richard gave us good advice how to get the most out of our 3-days stay in Ottawa. Without his recommendations we would have missed a lot of interesting places. The house is very conveniently located in walking distance to the most attractions of Ottawa. We especially enjoyed the balcony which... More

I stayed in the tower room for 4 nights in July 2014 and I cant think of anything negative to say about this place! Richard, the owner is very helpful with local information. If he doesn't know the answer straight away, he was happy to look it up or make a call to find out. The auberge has a lovely... More

This was my second enjoyable stay at King Edward B&B. The host Richard is very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable and his dog, Sunny, is a delight. Breakfast offerings were healthy and delicious. It is a short walk to downtown, some museums and parliament hill. Public transportation is available nearby, too. I intend to return soon.

We loved staying at Richard's place. The location is great. Even better is the place itself. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. Richard is the best host. He gives great info about the area and offers good suggestions to questions. He is very relaxed, which makes at nice atmosphere. Breakfast is great. And then there is Sunny the Wonder... More

Great B&B in downtown Ottawa! My husband & I stayed with Richard & Sunny for a week the middle of June. We had enjoyed our visit so much 2 years ago we returned. Richard (and Sunny) are extremely welcoming hosts. Richard is a wealth of knowledge about Ottawa - places to see, how to get to them etc. The location... More

I had to go to Ottawa to get a visa but also wanted to tour a bit since it's been over 10 years since I've been there. Therefore, this B&B was the perfect place to stay because it was close to good sites and the government offices and embassy that I had to go to. The Tower room was spacious... More

I recently stayed the Ottawa King Edward bed and breakfast. The host Rich was kind, helpful, and professional. The accompanying host, Sunny, added four-legged friendliness and a sense of home matching the calm and tranquil environment. Rich went out of his way to meet the accommodation needs of myself and teen son at no extra cost. He was a wealth... More
