I have been coming to downtown Ottawa for business since 2008 and whenever I can (depending on availability), I book in at the Lord Elgin. The location is great and there are lots of restaurants in the area. There is also a nice park to walk in right across the road. The service is top notch, right from the time... More

Booked Churchill Suite on 11th floor during Ottawa off-season for business purposes at $270 per day (it was the most expensive option at the time). This is the second time I have stayed at the Lord Elgin and the first time in a large suite. Great location in Downtown Ottawa in proximity to restaurants and attractions. Friendly front staff. Stayed here for three nights in early March. Comfortable room, very clean and well appointed. Helpful front desk staff. Centrally located and within walking distance to most attractions. If you ask the locals everything is within a 25 minute walk. Restaurant is only ok. Had breakfast three all three days. Standard overpriced buffet fare. Would go back.

Stayed on the 10th floor and right from the assistance getting the luggage in to leaving it was a great experience.
