I stayed in this hotel about 8 years ago and based on my recent stay I'm positive that the management has not done any renovations since then. The paint is falling off the walls, screens in windows are ripped, The hotel is in a state of disrepair. The front desk staff seemed annoyed if I asked a question and with... More

It is worst hotel that I have ever had. The hall wasn't indoor in my opinion, the hall would need a lot of reservation. Some lights were out smell like cigarette and a lot of spider webs. Also I got several bug bite on my leg so I really didn't want to use the blanket so I used my towel... More

Rooms need updating, location is fairly far from downtown (only works, if you travel by car). The room smells and air conditioning does not seem to do the job. I DO NOT RECOMMEND staying there, unless everything else is booked.

Stayed here as I regularly come into Ottawa for a night of work. Location is just east of King Edward, meaning just beginning to leave downtown and it is a run-down neighbourhood. If you walk from downtown you should be prepared to be asked for a lot of handouts from those on the street. The hotel itself looks like it... More

i waited to write this review with the hopes that the hotel or choice hotels would offer me something for the horrible nights stay we had and compensate us for the inconvenience of no sleep and bug bites but all i got from choice hotels is we will contact the hotel and have them respond and all we got from... It is a correct place if you don't like to pay hotel room with many services that you don't want to use (such as gym, business centre, etc.) and that have latest decoration style. It is a place to sleep, take the breakfast and leave. We went there with children and had to explain why people on next room were... More

For 80$ a night with a group buy coupon, it's a perfectly respectable hotel well located and with parking. Free breakfast (think limited choices and sustainance more than enjoying breakast) and wifi are available. The room was fairly clean, the ceiling in the washroom was coming apart but apart from that, the room was big, the bed was comfortable, there... More

We rented a room and were very disappointed. The front staff were not friendly, the room was dirty, and building is old, paint peeling. The location is good and is downtown. The rooms are very small and motel need upgrading.

Very disappointed in the over all cleanliness of the unit. It is an aged motel and in need of a lot of repairs. The décor was dark, dingy, and the furnishings well worn. Over all the room had an unpleasant smell about it. The exterior of the building had broken soffits and facias, and the parking lot had not been... More

My first try at the place. I wanted to go cheaper because I was in Ottawa only for one night. Check-in was fast and I was given a quiet second floor corner unit. Parking was kind of a mess but I have to consider the freezing rain a few days before. Walkways in front of the bottom units are uneven... More
