For 80$ a night with a group buy coupon, it's a perfectly respectable hotel well located and with parking. Free breakfast (think limited choices and sustainance more than enjoying breakast) and wifi are available. The room was fairly clean, the ceiling in the washroom was coming apart but apart from that, the room was big, the bed was comfortable, there... More

We rented a room and were very disappointed. The front staff were not friendly, the room was dirty, and building is old, paint peeling. The location is good and is downtown. The rooms are very small and motel need upgrading.

Very disappointed in the over all cleanliness of the unit. It is an aged motel and in need of a lot of repairs. The décor was dark, dingy, and the furnishings well worn. Over all the room had an unpleasant smell about it. The exterior of the building had broken soffits and facias, and the parking lot had not been... More

My first try at the place. I wanted to go cheaper because I was in Ottawa only for one night. Check-in was fast and I was given a quiet second floor corner unit. Parking was kind of a mess but I have to consider the freezing rain a few days before. Walkways in front of the bottom units are uneven... More

The parking lot was very poorly plowed The front office was modern , very clean and desk personnel very nice. The main section of the motel reeked in some areas while others were ok The hallways were bare concrete. The stairwells were in poor shape. The bed and living area were clean and well maintained The washroom had broken off... More

We booked based on price and close to downtown market + shopping areas. The doors were not painted the carpet is pretty old. Bed is okay and the bathroom was clean. No conditioner provided and hair dryer was missing. There is a microwave and fridge. I do believe that this place caters to a short term migrant crowd. Not the... More

By far the most terrible hotel I have ever been at. I was accomodated in the room above the frontdesk (2nd floor). First bad impression was the corridors, it looked like a cheap pension, just corridors in plain concrete, then the doors looking like in metallic material kind of reclusion institution. Once in the room a stained carpet and 2... More

Where to start! We drove into town late, our rooms were booked and we spent ages driving around the streets trying to access the motel as there were enormous road works being done for blocks along Rideau Street. We parked the car and immediately felt intimidated by the people who appeared to be casing us. We had booked two nights... More

We stumbled into this place -- unfortunately didn't have internet access in the car when we were looking. The price and location weren't bad, and we didn't have the run-ins with alarming clientele that others have described and the giant motorcycle parked in front of our room window turned out not to wake us up, maybe because the AC was... I was here in late 2010 and will never come back. Anybody saying that they felt safe here or slept well are employees or friends of the Motel. It is very dirty, there are shady people hanging out on the property, some were obviously there to have their turn with the poor, shaken lady that I noticed walking from a... More
