I dont know why the reviews are so great for this hotel. We took a standard room with 2 double beds...and it was very small with hardly any space to move..and it was NOT worth the $150/night we paid. Stayed at the BW on O'Connor St- Ottawa while in Ottawa for a friends bachelor party. Check in was a breeze- staff very friendly. Room was great- clean- spacious. Great location to downtown Ottawa- I'd stay here again (and probably will). more

Excellent value, clean, comfortable, renovated. This was our second stay at the BW Victoria Park. No recreational facilities but breakfast included. Short walk to the Canal, next to the Museum of Nature. Kids loved the free hot chocolate in the lobby when we were there. Plenty of space (two rooms), a good desk with a high-tech desk chair, a sofa with a coffee table and a comfortable easy chair, free WiFi; a nice terrycloth bathrobe, eight (8) pillows on the king-size bed; a little kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, silverware and dishes. We booked our stay through Airmiles and am glad we chose this hotel. We had a 2 room suite which was spacious, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The rest of the hotel was also very tastefully decorated. The front desk staff were very courteous as was the cleaning staff. We were only a few minutes drive from the downtown area... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night and found that it exceeded our expectations. It appears to be newly renovated. Parking is underground right on site. The front desk staff were very helpful. There is a free breakfast but we didn't go. I would certainly stay here again when I am in Ottawa. more

The staff were brilliant, and couldn't be more helpful. The package I got was great and the room was beyond my expectations (huge!). Parking was convenient, location was good for what we wanted (not exactly downtown though). All in all, I'd go back in a minute! more
