Went for a short trip to Ottawa-- stayed 2 nights with my husband and 2 kids (4.5 and 2). 2 separate BR, small kitchenette area (fridge, sink, microwave) and bathroom (right off the entrance). I was able to put the playpen in one of the BR-- fit snugly in the closet area. We had a camping cot that our older... More

Very basic accommodations but for the price, especially if you are sharing like we were (me, my g/f, my sis & her boyfriend), it was a very valuable option. The four of us split the cost, $88 split 4-ways, the is no other cheaper option in Ottawa. Both bedrooms have a tv, there is one bathroom with a shower. The... More

Really, the only bad thing about this place is that it is hard to find. It is behind the University. Otherwise, it really is nice. We had a very large two bedroom with a nice view of Ottawa. The staff was all great. You are located roughly 1.5 miles from everything. Rideau Canal, The Peace Tower, Parliament Hill, The National... More

During the year it is a student residence, but they do a great job in transforming it into a hotel for the summer. My wife, her mother, our baby daughter and I visited Ottawa and for us, the suite layout - with two separate bedrooms, a kitchen in between (fridge, microwave) was ideal for the two nights we stayed there.... My stay at the Saint Paul residence has been very comfortable. The staff are great, especially the breakfast worker (Mike)! There is only WIFI in the lobby and the lounges, but rooms have wired internet. If you're looking for a cheap, safe, clean and friendly place to stay, St. Paul residence is the place!

I loved the location-on bus route to city center and central station, close to Rideau Canal. Pity that some basics were not made available-kettle,knife,fork,bottle opener. Breakfast was excellent and laundry room was first class. The staff were helpful.

The room was great. Two individual bedrooms with a common area and bathroom. Not really a kitchen, but there was a refrigerator. The breakfast was as good as you'd expect from a hotel with free "continental" breakfast. The laundry facility was good, and the parking was fine. The building was really nice and clean, the staff working the desk were... More

I'f you're looking for someplace fancy, them keep looking. But if you'd like a clean, affordable place that is a reasonable distance from the downtown, then this is your place. A suite includes 2 bedrooms and one bathroom and kitchenette, so you can make it really inexpensive if you are traveling with another couple. The breakfast is basic (bagels, cereal,... More

My wife and I were on a budget while traveling through Ottawa and decided to stay here and save over $60 CAD per night compared to the Courtyard Marriott. Overall, it's a great place to just lay your head and your stuff while touring Ottawa. It is nothing fancy, so keep your expectations in check if you decide to stay... More

We spent two nights at the residence centre while touring Ottawa (July 2013). Great location , very central to all locations. Room had 2 separate bedrooms, although you would have to pay extra for more than 2 adults. Air conditioning , which was wonderful during the heat wave . Room had a small kitchen ( fridge, microwave , sink )... More
