I loved the location-on bus route to city center and central station, close to Rideau Canal. Pity that some basics were not made available-kettle,knife,fork,bottle opener. Breakfast was excellent and laundry room was first class. The staff were helpful.

The room was great. Two individual bedrooms with a common area and bathroom. Not really a kitchen, but there was a refrigerator. The breakfast was as good as you'd expect from a hotel with free "continental" breakfast. The laundry facility was good, and the parking was fine. The building was really nice and clean, the staff working the desk were... More

I'f you're looking for someplace fancy, them keep looking. But if you'd like a clean, affordable place that is a reasonable distance from the downtown, then this is your place. A suite includes 2 bedrooms and one bathroom and kitchenette, so you can make it really inexpensive if you are traveling with another couple. The breakfast is basic (bagels, cereal,... More

My wife and I were on a budget while traveling through Ottawa and decided to stay here and save over $60 CAD per night compared to the Courtyard Marriott. Overall, it's a great place to just lay your head and your stuff while touring Ottawa. It is nothing fancy, so keep your expectations in check if you decide to stay... More

We spent two nights at the residence centre while touring Ottawa (July 2013). Great location , very central to all locations. Room had 2 separate bedrooms, although you would have to pay extra for more than 2 adults. Air conditioning , which was wonderful during the heat wave . Room had a small kitchen ( fridge, microwave , sink )... More

Considering the price point and excellent location this is the best place to stay if you are travelling to Ottawa. You get spacious suite with two bedrooms, kitchen with full size fridge and microwave and bathroom with shower cabin. The beds are comfortable double size, the sheets and towels are clean and fresh, but very basic. The pillows aren't super... More

I was a little worried about staying here after a bad experience with a dorm turned hostel, but this place completely exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and each bedroom had it;s own television, comfy bed, and desk. This would be an ideal place to go with a friend or family member because of the two separate rooms for... More

At $82/night for a family of four, staying here is one way to save a few dollars while visiting this great city. Continental breakfast and free parking is included in the price. Somewhat worn, the room was decent. There's not much within walking distance as far as restaurants go, but it's only about a 10-minute drive to Parliament Hill and... More

I headed to Ottawa for a friends wedding and found this was the cheapest and had some great reviews praising it. To sum up, the apartments were great. My friend and I had a bedroom each with a comfy double bed and our own TV (less squabbles over what channel to watch!), little kitchen with a fridge, freezer and microwave... More
