Stayed at this hotel because of the reasonable rate they were offering eventhough it was my first time there. Didn't regret my decision because the service was good, the room was very clean and the environment was quiet even for a hotel close to the 401. Very convenient close to Oshawa shopping venues.

a disaster too many stairs no handicap access, no elevator, dining facility not comfortable, food in one room, and tables in another. staff not very helpful poor signage, difficult to find even with GPS in vehicle.. Overall not a nice experience, it is not worthy of the PLUS rating.

I just came back from a 2 nights stay at the best western plus in Oshawa. The hotel is clean and it is comfortable. The bad things that I need to say about the hotels is that there is only stair to go to the lobby. Guest with wheelchair wont be able to climb the stairs to registers. The second... More

Stayed here for business at the beginning of September over the weekend. We had 2 rooms. One of them the bath tub the water wouldn't drain and it also was really damp and musty. The others one was fine but missing items such as the luggage rack. Breakfast decent, the room is way to hot though a/c doesn't work. Yes... More

It was ~OK. Room had distinct faint odour of cigarette smoke. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Bedding was nice and clean beds were comfortable. If you need a place to sleep right off highway it's ok otherwise not a place I'd stay. It suited its purpose. Hotel was clean just needs a little makeover or a little fix up. Free breakfast... More

This hotel is "renovated", that is to say there is a hastily done wallpaper and paint job. Any tobacco smoke smell from days past is thankfully gone. The types of folks that stay here are contractors that make a ton of noise, smoke weed in the entryways and loiter outside. The hotel would rather you plan your stay around them... More

Our positive perception of this hotel began with the very friendly and efficient check-in. The desk staff were delightful and very helpful when we asked for a street-level room so we could "watch" our specialty car. They also quickly arranged for a hose so that we could wash it after our trip (we were there for the Oshawa Autofest weekend),... More

Expectations of a PLUS property not met. We stayed over the August long weekend which was warm. Air con in our room was not too effective as it was competing with the floor heater along the window which would not turn off! Metal framing around the sliding closet door was detached from the timber door. Handle on door to bathroom... More
