Staying for 3 nights. We were told there was a hot breakfast available just across from the residence building. She was reminded that there wouldn't be one but a Continental breakfast would be offered - follow the signs the next day. Did that. Breakfast consisted of bagels, vector and fruit loop cereal, apples, oranges with no knife to cut the... More

We stayed in the residences for 10 days while participating in Lacrosse Nationals in Whitby. It is perfect for sports teams. You have the option of purchasing meals in the cafeteria( pre arrange meals with catering so they are expecting you). You have to have your own pots and pans, plates and cutlery as nothing is supplied in the suites... More

This is the PERFECT venue for groups with teams of kids for sports. A college residence is practical, down to the concrete, noise-amplifying walls, miniscule beds and cheap rates. It's also GREAT if you like kids setting off fire alarms at 11:30 at night, tiny towels and drunk adults shouting and swearing in the back area until 2:30am. The SLOW... More

Our lacrosse team booked here for a three night stay while playing in nearby Whitby. Our rate was $89 per night. The rooms are very plain and small, but other than sleeping we really didn't need to spend much time here. We did have a very nice BBQ on the patio on the Saturday night. There are propane bbq's for... More

As a college residence, this location has the very basics. I stayed for 5 days in early July 2014 and it was as expected. We travelled with a girls soccer team, so we weren't looking for luxury or for things to occupy our time. The breakfast provided as part of our cost was adequate and more than on a scattered... Having been out of university for a while, it's a bit of a nostalgic trip to stay in a residence while travelling. What started as a good price online ended up being $90 a night all in which isn't horrible. The rooms were comfortable. There was a tv, fridge and microwave. Internet in the lobby, which earns a =( .... More

We has to stay here because our land lord had to put us here as our house we are renting isn't ready. Obviously not too thrilled about staying in a community college dorm room we wernt expecting much, but we expected more then what he experienced. right off the bat walking to your room there's kids with their room doors... I'm a student at Durham College. I have been living in res for about a year now, and the only improvement I've seen is the new store downstairs(ridiculously over-priced!) and wifi (that keeps disconnecting every time!!! i cant do my homework and always have to go at the library!-very inconvenient!). AND another thing that really pisses me off, there's no... More

Our corporate travel agent booked this lodging for us, mostly for the convenient location to Mosport race track. It is a bit closer than all the hotels along 401. However, it is a college dorm, so you need to approach it with the right expectations. I found the rooms clean and fairly up-to-date. There is a small sitting area with... More

and it sure looks like one. Shabby and not particularly clean. Many of the rooms have a bad odor. This is a residence and not a hotel. Our daughter's soccer team stayed at this "residence" for a tournament and the only plus was the girls could play in the hallways. The two bedroom rooms have small beds - a tight... More
