We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times now because the events that we were in North Bay for were being held at this hotel. As another reviewer said, the place looks more rundown everytime we go. Our room was old and run down, the furniture had stains on it and the washroom was dirty. We were travelling with... more

This is our third year in a row staying for one night during summer vacation. It is getting more run down each year, with no updating apparent. The rooms are very tired looking. They need a paint job, and the toilet ran constantly, which the front desk staff were not interested in hearing. Next year, we will try another place. more

My husband was there on business and we took some friends along who are not able to drive, who had been struggling with Alzheimer issues, and we thought we would give them a treat....spend a day in North Bay, a night in a good hotel with a delicious meal. We were also celebrating our 42 wedding anniversary. We had talked... more

Hi all, I'm back again. I'm not sure what happened to my first review, but based on my last stay, I had to come back. This time I decided we'd do a little vacation of sorts with the wife and kids, and the hotel did not dissapoint. As I had mentioned in my last review of this place, this is... more

If you are going to stay at this property in the winter, bring along your own source of heat because what comes with the room will not keep you comfortable. The ancient heater/AC in the room roared like a jet engine but delivered about as much warm as a toaster. The bedding is paper-thin and when extra blankets are requested,... more

This hotel was such a surprise. I usually stay down the street, but I will definately be back to the Best Western in North Bay. I had a problem with the heat in my room and the maintenance staff assisted me immediately. I also had trouble with the in-room movie, and again the staff was very helpful. The restaurant was... more

Stayed here for business meeting. The staff were very accomodating for our requests and took care of us well during the 2 days of meetings. The meeting rooms were great and the staff were prompt at bringing in our meals. There are lots of common areas to sit when on break and you want to get out of the meeting... more

I was tired of driving so I stopped at this hotel on my way to see the family in Northern Ontario last Easter. The hotel is conveniently located if you have a car. Most of the hotels in North Bay are actually clustered in the same area a few kilometres from downtown. Our room was fairly big and clean. The... more
