Well my family and I stayed in cottage "8" for 2 days, it looked cozy in the picture and the price was great at the time,,,,,,,, BUT the cottage smelled musty, the sheets weren`t changed, even the pillows and bedding smelled like sweat, no air conditioning no outlets in the bedrooms. Next time we will find something better not worth... More

I've been staying at this place for ages and I'm happy that some things in life don't change! I first came here and thought of that great Mammet film "Glengarry Glen Ross" and have recommended this motel to all my Baldwin Brothers. I imagine if Wayne's World Three is ever made, they'll have to come up here and shoot it.... More

My girlfriend and I (both visiting from Toronto, ON) found this place by accident about 12 years ago and have returned for at least 1 visit every summer since. We love that it is quiet and romantic at night and has a great view of the sunset and we love that the water depth into Lake Nipissing is only about... More

Motels like this one are little known gems for people who do not take pleasure in spending $$$ for a one-night stay in a pretentious hotel-motel. While not "modern" by the usual standards of recent and expensive renovations, it is well kept, well furnished (great bed) and very clean. The price is affordable and the site on Lake Nipissing, beautiful,... More

We arrived after a rainy week of canoe camping in nearby Algonquin Park, wet and tired and needing a place to dry out before heading north to Quebec for the next adventure. We were warmly welcomed by Irene, our host, who said to just make ourselves at home. My daughters loved our cabin, which reminded me of places I had... More

The owner is friendly and helpful. Found this little gem while "winging it" through Ontario. Very afforable. The motel is clean, comfortable and reminded us of our childhood family adventures across Canada. The cabins are adorable. The beach is sunny, sandy, weed-free and the swimming is fine. The kids enjoyed the ducks and minnows in the water-lily pond behind the... More

Our family spent a wonderful night here. From the awesome waterfront and beach looking out over one of Canada's biggest and most beautiful lakes (Lake Nipissing) to the quaint cottage with the retro decor, every aspect of our stay was perfect. Our host (Irene) was helpful, and went the extra mile to make sure everything went as well as it... More

Located just off of Highway 11, on the road leading to the center of town. Drove by this small family hotel/cottages located on the lake. My room was small, single double bed, but it was comfortable. It is dated, but there was a Lazy boy chair that was relaxing. There are also cottages on the ground, with views of the... More
