Motels like this one are little known gems for people who do not take pleasure in spending $$$ for a one-night stay in a pretentious hotel-motel. While not "modern" by the usual standards of recent and expensive renovations, it is well kept, well furnished (great bed) and very clean. The price is affordable and the site on Lake Nipissing, beautiful,... More

We arrived after a rainy week of canoe camping in nearby Algonquin Park, wet and tired and needing a place to dry out before heading north to Quebec for the next adventure. We were warmly welcomed by Irene, our host, who said to just make ourselves at home. My daughters loved our cabin, which reminded me of places I had... More

The owner is friendly and helpful. Found this little gem while "winging it" through Ontario. Very afforable. The motel is clean, comfortable and reminded us of our childhood family adventures across Canada. The cabins are adorable. The beach is sunny, sandy, weed-free and the swimming is fine. The kids enjoyed the ducks and minnows in the water-lily pond behind the... More

Our family spent a wonderful night here. From the awesome waterfront and beach looking out over one of Canada's biggest and most beautiful lakes (Lake Nipissing) to the quaint cottage with the retro decor, every aspect of our stay was perfect. Our host (Irene) was helpful, and went the extra mile to make sure everything went as well as it... More

Located just off of Highway 11, on the road leading to the center of town. Drove by this small family hotel/cottages located on the lake. My room was small, single double bed, but it was comfortable. It is dated, but there was a Lazy boy chair that was relaxing. There are also cottages on the ground, with views of the... More

We love the feel of the cottages. An authentic, original cottage experience, not just clean and comfortable, the location is ideal, the access to Lake Nipissing is top notch. Summer or winter, this is the place to stay when you're in the Bay.

Our family has been coming here for many years. As has been already stated the cottages are old but clean and the beach is great. Located in a small bay on Lake Nipissing the bottom is sandy, clean and quite shallow. Perfect for young children. The owner goes out of her way to accommodate those people who choose to stay... My sister and I had the good fortune of finding this little gem last week. Clean rooms...and wonderful beach on lake Nipissing. The whole time I was swimming in this little bay I was wishing I had my little grandson with me...the beach was that clean and safe.An other guest was fishing on the property and was able to catch...
