My wife and I return to Simcoe Manor every year for the great hospitality, food, and high end accommodations. John always has recommendations for restaurants and wineries that add to our overall experience. We also love the proximity to Queen Street and the backyard pool. Best pancakes ever!

I do not need to say much. It was a great experience. Our host and hostess were gracious and very helpful to us as we arrived a little late for getting to the theatre on time. John made sure we got there. Breakfasts were excellent and flexibility on timing (we love early morning coffee) was very much appreciated. We occupied... More

The manor itself was lovely, however the host John ruined our experience. He did this by being overbearing, controlling and intrusive. One of the two breakfasts were below average due to the fact that he was frustrated with us as guests and was vindictive. He literally served us half a grapefruit and old muffins. We were a large group and... More

I love to stay with friends, and I have them in very wonderful places. Hawaii, Rome, London and the like. When I decided to go to Niagara-On-The-Lake to see the theater instead of going to London this year, I looked for a place that would be like I was staying with friends. John and Allison were the perfect hosts with... More

Simcoe Manor was an excellent choice for out time away this summer. Allison and John were the perfect hosts in a facility that was gorgeous! We stayed in the Green Suite which was so beautiful and roomy. Our breakfasts were fabulous - wonderful fruit compotes each morning made with locally grown fruit, delicious butter tarts and fantastic entrees - fresh... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Simcoe Manor. The house and the grounds were simply gorgeous! We were treated to a gourmet breakfast each morning. John was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He helped us pick out vineyards, and also gave us free tasting vouchers. I enjoyed learning about the history of the town and its residence. We will definitely... More

We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary at Simcoe Manor, John and Alison were so warm and welcoming that made our special time more than over the top! The room was large and inviting we could have stayed there forever. An amazing breakfast was served when we wanted it, in a beautiful diningroom filled with antiques, you felt like royalty! Will... Simcoe Manor is peaceful and quiet and the gardens are beautifully tended. As usual, we stayed in the Mauve Suite which has windows on three sides of the room and a great couch and fireplace. Alison and John Gartner, the owners, gave us a choice of what kind of breakfast we wanted. The gourmet breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed... More

We spent a long weekend at Simcoe Manor and were delighted with every aspect of our stay. Breakfasts were amazing, our room extremely comfortable, our hosts helpful in every way and the house an architectural gem. We were new to the area and benefitted enormously from our hosts experience and knowledge of the surroundings. We would certainly choose Simcoe Manor... More

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary staying at Simcoe Manor. The Manor and property were all amazing. Jon and Alison went beyond any hospitality we have ever experienced sharing their incredible home and breakfasts out of this world. Not only did they make sure that we were well looked after at the Manor they made sure we enjoyed our first visit... More
