My wife and I stayed here and had a great time! The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was fabulous. I would recommend this B and B. The proprietors are very friendly, and go out of their way to make it a pleasant, enjoyable experience. This B&B is a historic building that is well cared for.

The place lives up to the name. This is a wonderful historic building, one you'd picture if you think quaint small town bnb. The location is steps from the main street and surrounded by other historic houses you can walk by and view the beautiful old architecture. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spotless, well appointed... More

This was our first time in beautiful Niagara on the Lake and will definitely not be our last! We stayed at the Apple Tree Historic B and B and were thrilled by the warm welcome we received and the beautifully restored cozy surroundings. Our room was perfect with a very comfortable bed and high quality bedding, the ensuite is modern,... More

My Daughter and I spent two nights on a short trip to the area. Niagara on the Lake is just charming and very relaxed. Gail & Dave were the ideal hosts and it was a real experience to spend time in a character property befitting of the area. They catered perfectly for various dietary needs and provided excellent advice on... More

We've been going to NOTL for years and always stay in a different B&B. I don't think there IS a bad B&B in the town--altho we have encountered at least one slightly odd host. The hosts and fellow guests are a large part of the experience, and the Apple Tree excelled here. Staying with Gail and David and the other... More

Found this on trip advisor having never stayed in b&b in North America and hearing rave reviews. Had difficulties with lock on door, wifi access and coffee machine. Comfortable and well rested following transatlantic journey. Excellent breakfast. Not convinced that outstanding classification is fully deserved though.

Thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay with Dave and Gail at the Appletree b&b. My room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Sitting around the table with other guests was a great way to start the day and Dave gave me some excellent tips on driving in the neighbourhood.

My wife and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary with an overnight stay at the Apple Tree. Our first time in Niagara on the Lake and we couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations and overall experience. Gail and Dave are such hospitable hosts and have a lovingly restored property (1820 original structure!). Our only regret was lack of time... More

A very big thank you Brett for mentioning all the things you enjoyed about your stay at Apple Tree B&B. The communal table gets everyone talking and conversing and many people echo your thoughts about it being the highlight of their stay. Thanks too for mentioning the clean, well appointed rooms with nice attention to detail. The bike trails are... More

Lovely old historic home within walking distance of everything. The home is older with a lovely sitting area and kitchen. The hosts are full of information and very welcoming to guests. Complimentary tea and coffee is a nice add in.

Thank you for your kind recommendation Yvonne. We try to be as informed as possible on what is going on in Niagara and pass this information along to visitors. Complimentary tea and coffee is something we added this year and people seem to be enjoying it. More
