Just 2 minutes walk from central Niagara on the lake. We stayed in the 'Granny Smith' room and although the smallest in the house, was pretty and well equipped - even had an ipod docking station. Free wi-fi access. Breakfast is served promptly at 9am with one sitting at a beautifully set table. Gail obviously loves preparing food as this... more

This home is charming and beautifully decorated inside and out. The bed and bath was very luxurious and the breakfast a gourmet treat. We are walkers and the location was excellent. The owners, Gail and Dave went out of their to make our stay the best it could possibly be. Many, many thanks. I give this my highest recommendation. more

Our stay at the Appletree was great. The hosts, Gail and Dave, really make you feel comfortable and at home. We stayed in the Granny Smith room, which had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in (plus a canopy, which was a nice touch). The bathroom was new, large and clean. The location is perfect for visiting... more

We loved this place, although we only stayed one night. The house is really pretty - it looks straight out of a picture book and is very conveniently situated for the centre of town. There is plenty of parking space at the house. Our room was beautfully decorated, comfortable & with a bathroom complete with jacuzzi! Gail is a lovely... more

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. Not only did our room look fabulous, but it was also extremely comfy and cozy and the bed linens were soooooo luxurious. We slept so well that night! There are only three rooms that are rented in this B& B and the downstairs parlor is shared with all of them. Free wi-fi internet... more

We spent 3 days here and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, breakfasts and company (both Gail and the other guests). The room was beautifully decorated and furnished, albeit a little small but the bed was very big! The air con was mercifully quiet which was fortunate as it was pretty hot while we were there. The B&B is very well situated... more

It was our first trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake and our first time at a B&B. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been any more pleasant. Time and care were taken decorating each room of this BEAUTIFUL home. Our hosts, Gail and Dave, truely made you feel as if their home was yours. The breakfast could rival... more

While we select new hotels to visit whenever we travel, we ALWAYS stay at the Appletree when we visit Niagara on the Lake. Gail and Dave are such warm and woderful people; we feel as though it is truly our home away from home. The linens are beautiful, better than what we are used to at home, and the breakfast... more

Far from the maddening crowd of Niagara Falls, is a quaint little town on the banks of Lake Ontario. Niagara on the Lake is full of theatres, wineries, restaurants, and lovely shops.Just a block from the center of town is a wondeful little B&B, the Apple Tree. Owned and operate by a great couple, Gail & Dave, who made sure... more
