We spent two nights in the suite at Highgrove over Labor Day weekend. Nice, spacious, very clean room with a private bath. Beautiful backyard garden where we had coffee and read the paper one morning. Delicious breakfasts! Bruce was a gracious and informative host. B&B is in a quiet location. more

This lovely home is a pleasing walking distance to downtown -- and the Shaw Festival theatres. Indeed, the B&B feels like home should be: comfortable, appointed with charm and taste, and run with confident and friendly ease. Plus, the host is a tremendous cook. We four college roommates (from 40 years ago), met and stayed at Highgrove for 2 nights, enjoying the town, shopping, resturants, theater, and of course, ice cream!
