Hotel was nice but room very tierd. Carpet had stains on it, bathroom old and well used, could have been a bit cleaner. Expensive for one night but for the area a good deal. 10/15 min walk to town. Breakfast had a good choice and china cups (in room to!) and plates which made a lovely change from plastic!

We enjoyed our getaway very much. The hotel was tidy and clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. I know Travelocity gave this inn a low rating, so we were unsure of booking. We were very pleasantly surprised, and happy with our choice. Book with them, you won't be sorry.

It's a very pretty town and the quite hotel is well located. The Staff is helpful and the breakfast is generous. There are nice eating places close by and the Lake is a few blocks away.

My friend and I stayed at this property for a night during our visit to the Niagara region. Located in the incredibly quaint heritage area called 'Niagara-On-The-Lake', this Inn provided for a clean and comfortable stay. The room was warm and had two single beds. The breakfast was far from lavish but was just right with the freshly baked bread... More

We stayed here for just one night whilst on a whistle-stop family tour of Niagara and Toronto. Our relatives made the booking, but we were really pleased with it. We arrived late on a bitterly cold night to a lovely warm, clean room. The room was huge with two double beds and a coffee machine. I know some other reviewers... More

We stayed here for 2 nights back in June 2011. I had 'liked' them on Facebook prior to my visit to keep up to date with any news and events so they also included me in a 25% discount promotion they were running for my stay! The room was a good size for a family of 2 adults and 2... More

We wanted to get away for couple of nights in wine country and while searching on line I saw the Colonel Butler and was immediately attracted to the "look" of the place. After arriving we weren't disappointed. We wanted to do some hiking and visit some wineries and found that we were very close to both. The friendly staff was... More

We stayed at the Inn for one night recently. The cost of the room was excellent compared to other hotels in NOL. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the front desk staff were nice. Only drawback was the 'enhanced' continental breakfast. Not sure what part was enhanced. There were hard boiled eggs and a waffle maker in... More

Just returned from a weekend in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. We have stayed in the area many times and thought this time we would try staying at a hotel instead of a B&B. The staff at the Colonel Butler Inn were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. There is a continental breakfast included, which was very good.... More

I have travelled the globe, but, this stay was as good as it gets. Excellent service, especially from the Front desk. Nothing was a problem and they made dinner reservations etc. prior to our arrival.
