Four of us spent 3 nights here in May 2012. Irene and Ed were warm and hospitable, catering to our every whim and anticipating our every need. We borrowed their bicycles, which they personally fitted to us, and we rode secure in the knowledge that Ed would rescue us if needed. We put the guest refrigerator to good use, enjoying... More

My husband and I spent one night at Abacot Hall over the long weekend. We found Ed and Irene to be very friendly and warm, and wanting to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The room was cozy, and we especially loved the balcony - so peaceful! It was a nice walk to town so no need to... More

Ed & Irene are awesome hosts, making us feel right at home as soon as we pulled into their driveway! The room was clean & cosy and breakfasts were great. Appreciated the ability to self check-in to the B&B. Loved the fact that we could walk into town and had bicycles to explore the wineries. I have stayed in hotels... More

My friend and I had a great experience at Abacot Hall. Ed and Irene were very warm and welcoming, and they had excellent suggestions on what to see and do during our short stay in the area. Extra touches were much appreciated, such as a station with water, tea/coffee and wine glasses as well as coupons for wine tastings and... More

Abacot Hall may have changed hands, but not its heart. Ed and Irene are born hosts, making their "visitors" feel like old friends almost instantly. The accommodations are as comfortable as they are beautiful, the location is convenient and accessible to Town, and the breakfasts are a compelling reason to stay an extra night. We've stayed at other, very nice... More

It was our first time staying at a B&B, and we were a little unsure if we would like it.... Let me tell you it is the ONLY way to travel while visiting Niagara on the Lake, and I would recommend staying at the Abacot B&B to anyone. Ed & Irene, the new owners went far beyond our expectations, helping... More

This is the first time we stayed at Abacot Hall with the new owners in charge. What can I say? The tradition of excellence and warm hospitality continues: clean and welcoming rooms, generous breakfast and lovely hosts who do everything to make your stay a memorable one. We will be back!

Stayed for one night while watching a couple of plays at the Shawfest. Very clean and bright. The owners were very pleasant and interesting to talk to. Breakfast was fabulous. Walking distance to the theaters and restaurants on the main drag. Have booked another night for another play in July.
