We had high hopes for this place, as we reviewed the information online here. Wow, where we disappointed. The bed was so nasty, when my fiance laid on it with me, I would sink to the middle of the bed, so would he. The rooms was so tilted and slated to one side it felt as though you where in... More

We stayed here for for two nights. It's central to everything in the town and just what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and tidy. I really liked the little extra touches, like the folded up towels like swans and animals and the small breakfast basket they left outside our bedroom door in the... More

The King George the III Inn is located on the water on a small side street. The Inn only consists on 9 rooms that are clean, but they are not big at all. My family of 5 went with 1 room and we had to get another because the rooms only consist of 1 Queen size bed which is not... More

I stayed at The King George III for 4 nights in one of the rooms at the cheapest rate so it didn't have much of a view. You don't have to go through the Jet Tour department on the first floor to get to your room as another reviewer has said. There is a separate entrance for hotel guests. My... More

What a find! Niagara-on-the-Lake has become very expensive to visit in the last 10 years, as nearly all the hotels and restaurants went "upscale" and took the prices up with them. Cheaper hotels in NOTL were not fit to stay in. Then I found the King George III Inn -- inexpensive, well-located and a very nice place to stay. It's... More

I recently stayed at the King George III Inn and was not overly impressed by the cleanliness of the room. There were tiny bugs all over the place and the bed was very uncomfortable. The worst part of all was the parking guy, which I can only assume is an ex-cop. He had a terrible attitude about people parking in... More

We were disappointed in this hotel. The website pictures are very misleading. The entrance for the hotel was through the other business run by the owners, a jet boat ride. The room was small and the bed was cramed in a small area. The t.v. only worked if the light switch was on, but we weren't informed of that until... More

Recently spent a night at King George. I must say that I was not expecting much when we pulled into the parking lot. However the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The inn is very small with friendly accomodating staff. The rooms could use a bit of an up date. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off and... More

There are very few in-season bargains in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Most of the inns and B&B's, lovely though they are, charge through the nose, so finding this place was a surprise. Make no mistake about it; this is a very small, very basic little place. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, unimpressive, but perfectly adequate for my... More

I stayed at the King George during the height of tourist/theater season. The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet, the staff friendly, the continental breakfast baskets plentiful and yummy, the location convenient (easy walk to the main drag). For my money, the best accomodations value in NOTL.
