Making spur of the moment reservations for the Shaw Festival, I should have been suspicious that this was the only place with a room available in the town. And I should have checked reviews. The owner of this amall cottage is apparently absentee, so we got a note and key on scheduled arrival. Room was small but comfortable, bathroom cramped... More

Owner communications skills are poor. Knowledge of hospitality business is poor. Leaves both visitor and owner frustrated, I don't doubt. Renovation of home very inspired but maintenance appears lacking. Room 1 is surprisingly small at 12 ft x 12 ft for room itself. Sink and commode in a closet, literally so close quarters. Shower in another closet, literally. Needs better... More

We stayed at the Paris house in May. The historic house is absolutely gorgeously decorated. We stayed in room 1 which was very pleasant. The hostess was great, and breakfast was wonderful. We would totally recommend this place and cannot wait to return to the Paris house in Niagara on the Lake. I love the fact that they have bikes... More

My husband and I have spend weekend in Paris house in the Summer. Excellent location, steps away from the theatre and the main street of the town with many restaurants and cafés . Clean and nicely decorated room, very small but enough space for two people. The booking process was kind of weird, as the credit card was not accepted. The... More

We visited Niagra on the Lake in late October and had a wonderful time! Cute little house in a great location! We were a little disappointed the owner did not serve breakfast as we were told that she is an excellent cook. She did provide coupons for a local restaurant that was nearby and it was fine. Looking forward to... More

We stayed here in autumn, when the town's gorgeous flowers were still in bloom but the weather was getting chilly. The house is centrally located and had nicely furnished, well-appointed rooms, which were small but not "cosy," because the house was damp and cold. (Owner asked if we wanted heat on but as far as we could tell, there was... More

House old but appointed beautifully. Clean, quiet and pretty. Hostess did nice breakfast and helped fix small problems that came up. We do wish she was more available for advice visiting this lovely town.

We made our first trip to this area in June for a romantic getaway. We had e-mailed the owner and told her we would stop by to get some tips for touring the area, at her suggestion, but would wait to check in later in the afternoon. When we arrived later in the morning she was completely thrown that we... More

Firstly let me say to my valued guests that I am very sorry to hear your stay at Paris House was not up to your expectations. Please accept my apologies. Unfortunately one of my entrances to the B&B rooms goes directly through the dining room. At 10:30 a.m. when guests have just left the table, it is not very attractive... More

Our trips take us to NotL pretty regularly. So far I like this B&B best. Items I'd like to mention include Scrubbed, Nicely Appointed, Breakfast's Great, Charming Hostess The house is cozy but in the heart of town.

We made our first visit to NOTL this week and what a treat - a stay at the Paris House. This lovely, quaint B&B just has to be seen to believe it. The owner has spent her time well in decorating and outfitting this well located rest stop. And if you like BIG and hearty breakfasts, then do put this... More
