This was a great place to stay in NOTL. It's right on the main drag, about a block away from the really busy stretch of Picton Street. Across the street from a park. That means it's quiet, but steps away from the bars and restos. My room was about $130 per night, included a gas fireplace, and a nice sitting... more

We were only able to stay for one night as we were passing through the area on our way to Toronto. Wish it could have been longer. This is a great little spot that is conveniently located within easy walking distance of main street, theatres, waterfront, park etc. We parked our car when we got to town and never moved... more

A wonderful place. We stayed two nights, a different room each night. The staff moved our luggage from the first to the second room. Both rooms were relatively small but extremely cozy, clean, and altogether comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms clean. The inn has parking in the back. It is conveniently located on the main street (Queen... more

We stayed two nights. We booked 6 weeks in advance and because it was the Labour Day weekend, rooms were filling up fast. Our room with a queen bed was extremely small; about 14' x 10', not including the bathroom. It faced the back of the inn (called a garden). The room was priced reasonably considering the rates at the... more

The Moffat is a comfortable inn located within easy walking distance of all 3 Shaw Festival venues and the shopping/dining district. This property was recently acquired by the Vintage Hotels group (which owns several other expensive properties in NOTL) and is no longer the friendly mom-n-pop establishment it used to be. The prices have gone up and (it seems to... more

We arrived in Niagra-on-the-Lake to find it bursting at the seams with day-visitors thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday Monday and the weather - it was surprisingly hot at about 80F! Sadly the Visitor Centre was closed and our plans to enquire about a place to stay were put on hold. However a short stroll along the main street we found... more

Stayed here for a couple of nights with the hope of taking in a play at The Shaw Festival. The room was small but comfortable with a decent sized bathroom. The decor was a little dated, not shabby but old-fashioned. Both the ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful even allowing me to store my luggage in the reception... more

My Wife and myself have had the privalege of staying at the Moffat Inn every year for many years. Also on occasions my whole family have spent a weekend there. It is in a way a home away from home. The Staff remember us from our previous visits. The cleaning staff alway's provide a lovely clean room and our every... more

Our daughter was married in July at the Church across the street from the Moffat Inn. We had some of the wedding party staying at the Moffat and they all loved it. The entire town open its doors and hearts for our special event with 160 wedding guests all over town this Inn was highly regarded. more

I have to say that my husband (of 20 years!) and I found the "Moffat Inn" a wonderful place to stay. It is very clean, very attractive, and very private. Our room had a fireplace, television, and bathtub. What more could we want? We have stayed at the "Moffat" 3 times, and we will not stay anywhere else, as long... more
