We attended a wedding at the prince of Wales next door.It was very convenient to leave our car in the Moffat parking lot for free parking. We just walked next door.Room was very roomy although we were in the lower level with 18 stairs to climb with our luggage. They did offer assistance if we needed it.Front desk staff very friendly and... Very pleased with the penthouse apartment which was perfect for myself, my husband, 2 teenagers and grandma! Very well finished, spacious and comfortable! Only wish we had a few more nights to throroughly explore the town from this reasonably priced and central location. Staff were very freindly & helpful!

This Inn in town is so charming! It is a lot less expensive than the other hotels in town, especially in the summer time. Its central to all the boutiques and we had access to all of the amenities that Vintage Hotels had to offer at no extra charge; pools, wi-fi, outdoor hots springs at Piller and Post, and shuttle... The Moffat Inn is ideally located at the edge of Niagara-on-the-Lake and only steps from the Shaw Festival's Festival Theatre. We stayed here three years ago and only rated it average, but they have since renovated the rooms and there has been a noticeable improvement. If you are looking for a bargain in Niagara-on-the-Lake, good luck. It is a charming... More

We stayed in tbe 2 bedroom penthouse with friends. It was very spacious with a large new kitchen, a living room, dining room an a small private balcony. There were 2 bedrooms, one with an attached bath and one with a separate bath. Both bathrooms were newly renovated and clean. The bedrooms had queen beds and were a very good... More

You'd think that for the rates the Inn charges per night that they could offer a proper bed, not half of a poster bed headboard bolted to the wall that rattled every time you turned over in the bed. Our room was small and cramped. The hallways at this Inn were dimly lit and dark, even the stairwell to the... More

i chose this inn for a girls' getaway to Niagara on the Lake due to availability. I wasn't sure about my decision because of some of the reviews I read and also because it's a 3 star hotel. The reception area is very dated and tired looking. The staff is pleasant and helpful. When they handed us an actual key... More

this is a nice charming hotel on the main street in Niagara on the Lake. While the rooms tend to be on the small side, they are charming, and normal for old buildings such as this. My room was a bit more comfortable as it had it's own entrance on the side of the building. I would stay here again... More

This historic hotel has wonderful accommodations. We stepped out of our room to the beautiful flowers lining downtown. Immaculate room. Not the typical "cookie cutter" hotel you find in modern hotels. Good food in the pub, too, at reasonable prices. I highly recommend.

With privileges at the three neighboring hotels, it makes up for the lack of facilities at the Moffatt. Walk anywhere, two blocks from the Festival Theatre. Recommend the pools and spa at the Pillar and Post. It is a bit farther than the Prince of Wales but worth the walk.
