We booked our stay at John's Gate on the strength of reviews on tripadvisor, and were not disappointed. The accommodations were lovely, with all the amenities we could ask for. Meheroo, our hostess, went out of her way to assist us in booking a wine tour (with a terrific guide), making dinner reservations and getting our passes for Niagara Falls... more

I need gluten free food and have other allergies, and found John's Gate through a testimonial mentioning dietary needs. I phoned and the owner assured me she knew all about gluten intolerance and could cook for me. When we arrived she went carefully through what I can and can't eat, and she really delivered - the food was gourmet! It... more

John's Gate proved to be a perfect anchor for our long fall weekend at Niagara on the Lake. Meheroo, the host, met us at the door and we instantly felt welcomed into a beautiful home. Meheroo was a very gracious and friendly host providing helpful information and tips. The accommodations are spectacular to say the least and the location is... more

Spent 2 days/nights at John's Gate. Had a great experience. Travelled with a toddler. Meheroo was very accomodating in this regard as NOTL is not very targetted for babies. Very clean, orderly. Great breakfast. Better in my opinion than those served at the higher end hotels. Would recommend. more

We stayed 2 nights at John's Gate and came away feeling like we'd been treated like treasured friends. Meheroo was instrumental in making our visit a wonderful memory by being attentive (but not intrusive) and by maintaining the highest standards in hospitality and service. The breakfast was an experience - from the presentation to the gourmet quality. The B&B location... more

We had a wonderful stay! Breakfast was amazing! Meheroo was very accomadating over my not eating seafood. She was very pleasant and helpful during our 3 nite stay. We will definitely stay there again. I don't know where all the nasty reviews came from but we didn't experience any of that. more

My husband and I, along with our 8 month old son, stayed at Johns Gate B&B at the end of April. When I booked this B&B it was based on great reviews, unfortunately we were not treated greatly. This was the 3rd B&B we'd stayed in and it was clear the lady running it was in it for the $$... more

From the moment we booked our reservation, we knew this bed and breakfast would be very special. Upon booking, I casually mentioned to Mehroo that I had a few dietary issues and would she be able to accommodate them. I presented Mehroo with my list and without a moments hesitation she started to ask me of alternative foods that I... more

I was at the B & B for three nights with a relative. We had separate rooms in a wonderfully clean, beautifully furnished and centrally located. A 10 minute walk brought you into town. the walk to town took us down beautiful streets, with breathtaking gardens. I thought I was in a southern climate, not in Canada. Our hostess was... more
