I have stayed at the beautiful Stewart House on many occasions and every time was fabulous. This B&B is an historical home renovated to perfection; still retaining all its incredible charm. The large comfortable veranda in the front of the home is magical to sit awhile; enjoying the lovely tree lined street, gorgeous flowers and birds singing. I just love... More

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Stewart house for a little New Years Eve getaway. We could not have asked for a better stay and evening! We booked the Laura Secord room which was perfect with a comfy Queen sized bed, high ceilings, and large, clean ensuite bathroom. The house is actually a cultural heritage house built... More

Stayed here for a wedding in August (our second stay). The location on King Street is perfect--walking distance to downtown & easy cycling to many wineries and the parkway. Jean is an amazing host and breakfast is truly amazing. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting NOTL.

We were given details of The Stewart House by the Tourist Information Office and what a find it was. We couldn't have wished for better. The owner, Jean, was fantastic; she cooked the finest breakfast for us each morning, with such a variety of options. She made us feel so welcome that we wished we could have stayed longer. The... Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Stewart House over the labour day weekend. Beautiful old home, and Jean exceeded our expectation! Everything was clean and extremely comfortable and even nicer than it looks in the picture. Jean was very welcoming, a great storyteller, and an EXCELLENT COOK (her breakfasts were to die for)! The place is only 2-3 minutes... More

Two very pleasant comfortable nights that this charming fully renovated house. The room was cozy, with an en suite bathroom and small alcove. Jean is the most pleasant and friendly host we've had, and she cooks an amazing breakfast, as well as giving us lots of good information about the area. The house is convenient to both the town and... More

Charming cottage and Jean is the hostess with the mostess. Very accommodating to my dietary requests and the Full English cooked breakfast is the best. The rooms were spotless and very cozy. Just a short walk to town...I will definitely be booking my room in advance.

Jean Stewart loves what she does and it shows. Tired of those perfunctory B&Bs, the owners/custodians who do their jobs and have done with it? Not Jean. Great food, great beds and rooms and a host who loves to help and serve. Jean loves people, period. She'll accommodate your diet and your schedule. The Stewart house is close to town... More
