This was our third consecutive year at the Oban Inn. We have seen the transformation occur, and would like to offer the flip side to the comments that are bemoaning the changes. Change is good. How sad, a beautiful Inn, completely ruined by someone's lack of vision. What happened to the beautifully recontructed with original artifacts, decor inn. The great pub is now gone, with actor's corner and all. The tartan carpet and its original trim completely removed to amke way for a fad. My husband and I had a weekend at the Oban Inn last weekend. The room was beautiful , however the rest of the inn is under constuction. There is no cocktail lounge , dining room or bar available.
