Food in restaurant at best average and very disappointing customer service.
Spa outstanding. Very relaxing atmosphere. Excellent massage by Lorne.

We (my wife and I) were given a gift letter (as Oban calls them) to stay, eat or enjoy the spa. We decided to stay and eat. Our trip was during off season pricing. Food was very good. The staff was friendly, rooms well articulated. Thanks Oban. Keep it up. Lewis.

Unfortunate timing created a disappointing vacation.
A night in the Deluxe King room was arranged for a private celebration. The room looked lovely and the staff was friendly. There was dirt on the bathroom vanity (it appeared to be makeup). This is only a minor detail and can be overlooked.

We did have a glitch on check in, with three separate credit cards all being declined - we checked with Visa afterwords and found there was nothing wrong with the credit cards - we finally found a card that worked.
