I was so fortunate to have booked the Copper Lane. It is close to the Main Streets of Niagara on the Lake. The look of the house attracted me when I booked. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Maddy, the owner. The 1871 house was so well appointed and well maintained. The decorating was so very charming. The... More

Niagara-on-the-Lake is a trememndous weekend getaway for couples. Although my wife and I have visited Niagara Falls more than a dozen times, we had never ventured to this great little village. Boy, have we missed out. The village is filled with a great vibe of international flavor. What a great way to spend time by walking down the village streets... More

As part of an anniversary getaway, we treated ourselves to a night at Copper Lane B&B. We stayed in the Nutmeg Room which was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the bed luxurious! Maddie was a wealth of information and I was impressed at how she continues to research the resources of the area in order to give her... More

Glad you spent your anniversary with us! I do try to keep up with what's going on in town as we are such a busy community with the history, theatres and the wineries! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you make it at least an annual tradition. More

This is an all around wonderful place to stay. Maddie is a wonderful host and made our stay so pleasant. She makes a great breakfast and the presentation of the food makes you feel so special and at home all at the same time! Definitely recommend!

Thanks for the nice comments! Next time I'll make you our stuffed, baked french toast with my home made applesauce and raspberries instead of the ricotta which you may prefer! I'm glad you decided to stay the extra night and have some peaceful relaxation instead of hitting the big city! Hope you did get to enjoy a ballgame, and if... More

We stayed 2 nights (Tues,Wed) at Copper Lane in the heart of Niagara on the Lake. It is less than a block from the main Street and only about 3 blocks from Lake Ontario. We rented the Cocoa Bean room with your private bathroom being directly across the hall. We saved a little by opting for that as opposed to... More

Thanks for the review. Niagara-on-the-Lake is the premium escape in Southern Ontario and being an international destination it can be a little pricey! So glad you enjoyed your stay and if there is anything we can do to make your sleep quality perfect, pop me an email with your suggestions! Looking forward to seeing you again! More

We have stayed at many B&B's over the years at Niagara-on-the-Lake. This was the best experience! Fantastic location, a great hostess, and a wonderful room. It was so nice to come back at the end of our day and have some quiet time on Maddie's beautiful porch. Can't wait to go back!

This was our first trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake and our gracious host Maddie made sure that our stay was completely enjoyable and stress-free. The breakfasts were delicious and the room, Cocoa Bean, was very comfortable. The bed is extremely comfortable, to the point that we asked about the maker so that we could get one like it. It's a real pleasure and honour when someone considers ours their "home away from home". Coming from a large family myself, I love opening our home to others, love the chats when the guests want them and sharing the history of this lovely home and beautiful town with them as well. We so look forward to seeing you both again!... More
