We stayed at the B&B for New Years and found the property to be in good condition and well maintained. The Staff was friendly and very accommodating and took extra care to prepare a gluten breakfast. The Lady that worked overnight really took an interest in us and she is well suited for this type of employment. She prepared a... More

The location is great, the Inn is pretty and our room was a suite and was nice. Enjoyed the fact that we had our own entrance and could sit on the patio and enjoy a glass of wine before theatre. However, I felt the breakfast was below the standard of other Inns and B & Bs that I have stayed... More

We really enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. Charlie & Barbara met with us at breakfast to inquire about our days activities, Barb provided places to dine and coupons to numerous wineries. Burke House is close to downtown and has parking available. The room was comfortable, and the house has modern facilities but also has the charm of the 1800's.... More

The hotel is in a great location, an easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the wonderful Shaw Festival theaters. But the kitchen staff was surly, proprietors nonexistent -- we were never greeted by anyone in the three nights we stayed there. Breakfast cold and tasteless. Rooms OK, overall the place has a tired air to it. Very limited amenities.... More

The Burke House was a treat. The location is terrific for anyone going to Shaw Festival performances (for those who know N-o-t-L, I can tell you that it's a 60-second walk from the Court House Theater). It's quiet, charming, immaculately kept, the breakfasts were *fabulous*, and Barbara and Charlie are both exceedingly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended to make your... More

We stayed two nights at the Burke House over the Canada Day weekend. It was quiet and restful, the hot breakfasts were excellent, the staff helpful and friendly and the location perfect. The private parking lot was a bonus and there was a safe place to park our bicycles. We would definitely return there.

Absolutely stunning home in a perfect setting. The dining room was lovely, as well as the other public areas of the home, and the bedroom was so pretty! The staff (especially the owner Barbara) were ultra friendly and helpful. The breakfast was substantial and delicious! We'd return again in a heartbeat. It confirms to us that "B & B-ing" is... Everything about our experience here was marvelous. For our honeymoon, we stayed in the Boudoir Room and it was very quaint and had its own bathtub along with a shower. The innkeeper, Barbara, was an outstanding host and provided various recommendations on attractions around the city since we weren't sure what there was to do. She was very friendly, warm,... More
