My nephew and his wife and 18yr old daughter from England were visiting my wife and I. We, of course did the Niagara tour. We spent one night at Carbonnel Bed and Breakfast, we wished we could have stayed longer. It was a lovely place. Everything you needed was provided and our home cooked breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the 2-night stay, as it provides comfortable living space, a bunch of advice on how to navigate the area, as well as insightful conversation with the hostess Janet. She prepares healthy and right-portion breakfast which differentiates itself from ordinary continental breakfast. No glutting! Although certain distance from the center town, we feel this is not a problem as... More

My wife and I have stayed at Carbonell for many years and when we decided to stay there with our brother and his wife we were concerned that there was a change of owner. We did not need to worry, our favourite B & B was as good as ever. Janet was so welcoming and helpful she could not have... More

Janet & Guy are wonderful hostesses, they make you feel at home are so helpful with restaurants, attractions and making reservations for you. Janet is a terrific cook, she especially made gluten free breakfast for me, not your normal bacon and eggs kind of breakfast. We had a King Size Bed, very nice bedding, a small TV, private bathroom with... More

Our trip was a last minute decision and we thought that finding an available B&B would be almost impossible. To our surprise Carbonnel was available. We weren't sure but we decided to take a chance. It turned out to be the best decision that we could have made. Janet was a wonderful hostess. She was very well informed of her... More

Carbonnel was quite a surprise. Finding accessible rooms in more historic areas can be tricky and we weren't quite sure what to expect, and I am so happy to have found Carbonnel. The hostess, Janet was warm and welcoming from the first moment. She really took the time to make my husband and I feel welcome. The Alexander suite we... More

From the time we arrived, it was like visiting family! Janet, Guy, Luke and Chardonay made our stay an unforgettable experience. After showing us around the house and property, Janet took time to explain the layout of town and surrounding area to us and also gave us complimentary tickets to many local wineries. The house was immaculate, the beds extremely... More

We were having great time staying in the Magnolia room for few nights. The hostess Janet was very helpful and a great cook. We enjoyed the 4 course breakfast everyday.
