We have stayed here four times in as many years. Excellent value, especially in shoulder-seasons. Quiet clientele. Moderate (quarter mile?) but pleasant walk to Shaw Festival Theaters and all shopping. Comfortable but spare accommodation. Small but healthy continental breakfast provided in room. It IS a short walk to the city center, and to all the Shaw Festival venues, at least compared to other places we've stayed. The rooms ARE tired, but so am I when I get back to mine, and the staff has never failed to be pleasant, the view of the little harbour lovely, and the price, right. Best of... more

The motel is old and tired, think a 50's or 60's roadside motel with very few updates. The woman who checked us in was very friendly. The room was were a good size but very spare. Had booked this online for the one free night they had that suited us but on getting to the room just felt we couldn't stay. A musty smell, really rundown look to the room with grubby carpet and it's a longish walk to the main part of Niagara On The Lake. They were nice about it and refunded our money.... more
