A solid budget hotel focussing on the necessities of a good night's sleep. General Room Condition: One king-bed room on second level included a microwave and a mini-fridge. The room was well-kept and clean. The washroom was clean but you could pull out the shower release mechanism if you pulled hard enough. Staff: Very welcoming at front desk. Friendly demeanour... more

This is probably the first time that I've booked a hotel room without looking at Trip Advisor reviews - bad idea. The hotel looks nice from the outside, but the room was terrible. It wasn't clean, it had a strange odor, the air conditioner barely had any cool air coming out of it (it probably needed cleaning too!), there was... more

You get what you pay for: For $60, you get: - a shabby room; -carpet you don't feel safe to walk barefoot on; -showers that vary back and forth between scalding to icy; -a view of a parking lot; -a bed with body hair in the sheets (clearly not changed since the last guests); AND -several flea/bedbug bites (after deciding... more

Definitely not worth the money. The heater was broken in the room, we were given a non smoking room when we had reserved a smoking room.. we were told nothing could be done, they gave away all the other smoking jacuzzi rooms (although we had a reservation) and we needed to go outside to smoke. Keep in mind the temperature... more

Our group stayed at Econolodge Near the Fall in June 2005. The motel is located on a quiet street, but there's a 24 hour 7-Eleven within 100 feet. It's also about 20 minutes walk to Niagara Fall's nightlife and about 10 minutes walk to Niagara FallsView Casino. The room is large with oversized bedding, however there was no shampoo and... more

After leaving another hotel because we were completely dissatisfied with the owner's behaviour, we found this hotel and rented one of the jacuzzi suites. It was perfect. The room was very spacious, the tub was huge and I loved the window seat. I would definitely stay in this hotel again and hope to next year when I'm back in Niagara... more

The hotel was nice from outside. The room was clean but well used. The room was big...we asked for a room on first floor and was put in a room where we had to go up about 4 steps. We have bad knees and it was hard to navigate. Our problem was the beds. They were as hard as a... more
