My wife and I stayed here in August 2012. We both have high standards and Cartland did not disappoint! We arrived late (after 10pm) and our host Gary welcomed us and didn't make us feel bad coming in so late. Our room was new and clean - the last thing we wanted was a hundred year old Victorian style home... More

My husband and I stayed at Cartland Estates B&B for nearly a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with our comfort in mind. The crickets serenaded us every night and we slept really well. It's a peaceful somewhat rural setting yet close to everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast, cooked by our... More

The home is very spacious and has nicely appointed rooms. The grounds are nice and peaceful. Unfortunately we had an interesting experience with respect to service... As we were arriving back at the B&B quote late for what was my only night's stay (second night for some of the group), we found a note posted on a door stating that... More

Unfortunately this review is based on a misunderstanding between the guest and their group. We are truly offended that we are being accused of poor hospitality. Our B&B is also our home and we do have house policies..1# being that check-out is 11:00 a.m. and 2# A full breakfast is served between 7:00 - 9:00 a.m...The first breakfast ( Sunday) went fine.....that... Cartland Estate is by far one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. The rooms are luxurious and spacious. Although we went during the winter months the grounds look spectacular. We took our grown-up children as our guests and they felt that our hosts Dianne and Gary were very welcoming and gracious. 5 stars all the way.

This B&B is relatively new. It's a great place in a semi-rural setting. Just go down the road a mile or so in either direction and you easily can drive back to the main part of the Falls area. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfy. Everything is neat and tidy. Breakfast was very good, freshly prepared by one... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here a little over a year ago and absolutely loved this B&B! Gary and Dianne were so nice and accommodating, we felt very welcomed into their lovely home. Although this B&B is a few minutes (10-15) outside the hustle and bustle of downtown, that is one of the reasons why we loved it so much.... More

We had a wonderful stay with Gary and Dianne. They are excellent hosts. We were so pleased with their clean, quiet, & beautiful home. The meals were filling and delicious and it was so nice getting to know our hosts. We loved the back yard and porch and the location is close to the sites without the noise of other... More

A wonderful bed & breakfast with outstanding hosts. A large modern home with lovely large guest rooms and guest areas, the hosts take the extra time to make every guest feel welcome. You arrive a stranger and leave feeling like a long term friends. The hosts offer an excellent blend of personal privacy and family warmth combined with a great... More

The location is reasonably isolated with no neighbouring houses, which provides for a more private and intimate feel, yet it's only a 5 minute drive down the road to the falls. The property itself is a beautiful estate which is very clean and modern, whilst still maintaining a natural and homely feel. Our hosts were lovely and very accommodating. The... More

This couple grew up in the area and took a rural property and with their own hands built a beautiful house with huge guest rooms with vaulted ceilings, massive walk in showers and welcoming fire places. It was a nice change from the cramped quarters of modern building restrictions. For breakfast, they open double doors to an amazing huge and... More
