I stayed at the ALT Hotel at the recommendation of a colleague. First it is very simple to get to the hotel from the terminal using the tram. The last stop is offsite parking and the ALT Hotel. For the price, the hotel and features are very good for business travelers. You get free WIFI, which is a plus. The... More

Stayed at the Alt Hotel last night and was very impressed with it. Price-quality, this place must be unbeatable! It's new, very modern, with good beds, pillows and showers. It's right next to the shuttle train that runs to the airport, and the staff are very helpful. Last evening Kyle was on Reception for check-in, then on bar service later.... More

Went the usual route, Trivago, tripadvisor, hotel tonight, hotels.com, etc and was exhausted at how old most of the hotels were. Then I drove around looking for something looking new and found ALT. Stopped in, same price as online everywhere ($149 CAD) and booked on the spot. Parked and all is good. Internet is great 10 down and 5 up... More

I stayed for 3 nights for business meetings hosted there, and will be back for another series of meetings. The Alt is at the end of the Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) tramway, so quite convenient to the airport. Alt hotels have a rather funky decor, with pastel lighting, abstract art, and highlights in glass and stainless steel. It's not tacky... More

This is the second time we've stayed here in the past week, and love it. I'm currently wiritng this review from the room. The pillows are the best pillows I've slept on at a hotel, ever. The bed is sooo comfy. Our view the first night from the 12th floor was beauitful. You could even see ten CN tower. The... More

I'd love to be able to review the hotel but when I showed up at 1:30 am after a long flight there was no room. No misunderstanding just over sold despite my prepay. I was shipped to some no name hotel in the middle of no where. Not cool. I do a 100 plus nights a year in hotels and... More

Stayed one night prior to early morning flight out of Terminal 2. Had double queen bed room plus covered parking for 8-nights. We have done economy, self-park & valet plus other airport strip hotels with parking included. This was the best experience!!! We kept our vehicle in the temporary, outdoor parking lot for the drive to the Lonestar for dinner.... More

Stayed here for one night with family (wife and 2 young kids) prior to an early morning flight. We checked-in around 3pm and got caught in a staff shift change. Although we were the only ones checking in, we almost waited 10 mins for the front desk to "log-in" to their system and get us our room. As a first... More

Stayed for the night before a flight to Mexico. This hotel is great, very clean, attractive, you might say funky. We were on the 14th floor, corner room, awesome view. Energy efficiencies, your key card gets slotted into a place holder just inside your door, this turns the power on in your room. Rooms are modern and attractive, no room service... More

This is an excellent hotel: quirky, contemporary, extremely convenient and a very good value if you are planning an overnight stop in Toronto while travelling. They have a restaurant but we didn't eat there so can't comment. Another plus, the terminal train is a lot more convenient than courtesy shuttles.
