We were in town with family and weren't particularly wowed at the brunch. A couple of examples should give you an idea of why. First, a member of our party had asked for a cappuccino, but apparently the machine was "broken". Second, another member of our party had asked for a fried egg at the omelette station and was told... Went there for a friend's wedding. The dinner was fabulous. Cooked just right, beautiful presentation and the wait staff were great. The inn itself is warm and inviting while having a heritage feel to it. No elevators, only stairs but that's ok as there only 2 floors which adds to the inn's charm. The decor is filled with beautiful woodworks... More

As a Mississauga resident, I've never stayed at the Glenerin Inn, but I recently attended some events there and I was amazed by the place. We enjoyed dinner in the Grand Sunroom one night and returned a few weeks later for an evening on their patio that overlooks the ravine. We had a fantastic time and the atmosphere is spectacular.... Attended the 2015 Technology Summit hosted by SURROUND at Glenerin Inn in July along with about twenty four other staff and service providers. We all sat at one long table in the biggest conference room or what I call the Cathedral Room because of the majestic stain glass windows showing representations of the four seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter... Recently the company I work for help our second corporate event at the Glenerin Inn. The event was held in the incredible Credit Valley Room, the stained glass windows and beamed ceiling made for a very pleasant atmosphere. They served us breakfast as well as lunch and each meal provided several options to choose from and everything was delicious. As... More

This was our third stay at the Glenerin Inn, and once again, had a fabulous time! Thanks to the friendly, attentive front desk staff; and a special thanks to Mr. Wallace. We were celebrating friends birthdays and had asked for a few special requests, and Mr. Wallace went above and beyond! The property and setting is beautiful! We enjoyed cocktails... More

I really wanted to like this place. Charming building, lovely location (a deer walked by us while eating lunch on the patio!), friendly staff. Unfortunately there are some major issues with maintenance and housekeeping that need to be addressed before I would consider staying there again. My first room had a gaping hole in the door that looked like someone... More

Thank you for your review. I'm surprised with this reviewers overall score for this review. I agree with her that the state of the room she was initially staying in was completely unacceptable. We clearly missed this glaring defect and it's unacceptable, however, once it was addressed with us the issue was immediately rectified. She was moved to a new... More

I have read a lot of reviews of this Inn , and have noticed that Jason the property manager responds to most of the negative posts , so I hope maybe this will get his attention as my requests for a call back from his subordinate manager Norman are being ignored , I stayed on sat night sept 19 ,... Thank you for your review. I had an interesting conversation with this guest on Wednesday last week after he left a message with us on Tuesday. I apologized to the guest for the issues he encountered during his stay and even through the profanity that he used on the phone with me towards my team I did my best to... More

I organized a large full day meeting at the Glenerin, and was very happy with my experience there. Everything went off without a hitch - we had breakfast, snacks, and a full hot lunch service - all of which was delicious, accommodated dietary restrictions and delivered on time. The grounds were beautiful, and the service was friendly and helpful -... More

very dated...not antique or restored, just an attempt at that.Cheap mirrors on the mantles, huge Made in China" prints of Group of Seven " prints detract from the lobby. Place feels cold and not as welcoming as such an establishment should. The "Traditional" room was small, DAMP---the dressing gowns were like something out of the washer, not the dryer , and... More

Dear Readers, There aren't many hotels that I've been in that can afford original copies of the Group of 7. Our copies support the "March of Dimes" and they are not made in China which is a very derogatory comment if I do say so myself. I'm surprised that this guests expensive taste in art would then in turn complain... More
